SR-71
You connected the development of the SR-71 to the shooting down of Gary Powers in 1960, but the SR-71 project was started in 1958.
At least that's what it says on the info board at Duxford. Well worth a tripto see it in the flesh actually . There's also a B-52.

Re: Doesn't this defeat the purpose ...?
Patent nonsense. The fiery disk cannot pass under the elephants. Everyone knows it's turtles all the way down.
Re: license
You missed a letter in surrounded.

He wants apps which have the content of his books removed so he can make an app himself and give away the content free.
Sounds like an idiot; I'll put him down as a possible idiot.

But you might expect that the apple lawyer who did the due diligence on the original purchase of the trademark will be required to walk the plank.
Can I be the first one to thank the reg hackette
For an apple piece without "foxconn rebrander" in it.
Re: Tab2
But.. the Tab2 doesn't sell as well as the Tab 1.
Could it just possibly be that its because it doesn't look like an iPad, so the buyers aren't misled?
Re: Surely..
>> I should add that the Learjet would be flying to Ecuador, not Guantanamo Bay...
Nice try CIA.
"The Hague"
Can we just stick to calling him William?
I agree
There's hardly any need for some magic material to replace a simple bit of "bent tin".
I surmise that they have a very specific product in mind which will take years to develop, and probably not a mac air housing either, as that's well covered by the current alloy CNC part.
Maybe they are making a combination fridge/toaster. Or a jet pack.
Re: They will need different lesbian graphics for the uk tho'
Yeah, just as I can identify twats with no sense of humour by their inane replies.
They will need different lesbian graphics for the uk tho'
The couples I see here are a small pretty one, and a big one with short hair, tats, and army boots

Re: Dr Magneto will see you now.
If they can implant the magnet, then they can excise the tumour..
The problem I see with the scheme is that the particles will be strongly attracted to cluster on the magnet surface, reducing availability at the edges of the tumour. Maybe if they had magnetised particles they could then use an electromagnet and attract/repel with a waveform designed according to the size of the tumour
Re: Why do people care so much about the Foxconn rebranding thing?
@diodesign
Except that there a difference between a nickname and a description. You are not using the phrase "foxconn rebrander" as a name, you are using it as descriptive text, and that is where the reg team are just plain wrong.
Oh Dear
You'll get fired from the Reg by referring to Apple.
The approved terminology is "Foxconn-rebrander"
Situation normal
Foxconn rebranding . check
Fruity tech. check
Reality distortion field. check.
Nothing to see here, move along now.
Why don't the best techies work in the channel?
Because it's full of water, and they would drown
Re: One square kilometre
As it's splurged over a number of locations in the southern hemisphere, thousands of km apart, are they going to stop calling it the square km array?
Re: Victory over Red Indians

Merkel
So she'll doubtless have no problem with the duality of Greece being in the Euro and out of it at the same time then.
