"Microsoft attorneys acknowledged that the company had been in contact with i4i about the technology, but they said there was no evidence to prove anyone from the larger company actually read the patent. The claim is designed to counter a finding that the infringement was willful, which can substantially increase penalties in patent cases"
So the US Justice System you can get off with something or have a lighter sentence due to incompitence or sheer stupidity.
Lets see if the MS Lawyers hold the same opinion when a patent law is taken against a company by them, oh wait no need as they have already proven they are not so soft then.
Called BT regarding issue with my phone line.
First thing they asked before agreeing to send out a tech is that I remove the plate off the outlet on the wall and verify all wires are connected and mess with it. I refused stating that if the issue is with my phone or other hardware I would pay a charge but if it is the outlet or the cable coming into the house I would not. Had to fight until I had spoken to three different people but got a tech out who fixed the issue. Appearently they forgot to connect me at the box out on the street.
If I pay for warranty that states as Dell does next day technician on site why would I attempt to fix the issue myself. I am not going to buy a new car and play with the engine if it is not working correctly before going to a garage. That is why I spent the money on a warranty.
All extra warranties are just another way for people to waste money by getting a product that the company supplying does not want to give out. Sort of the same scam you have with insurance.
In 10-15 years we will be getting holographic images of this poor guy and the very large objects that are being inserted in his bottom.
Maybe he should move to some other countries where people pay to see these things happen, then he would not need to have his money transfered.
Simple, if they post a price regardless of how rediculously low it should be honored. Any and all orders made before they correct their mistake should be honored, and if they are worried about losing money on this then the resolution is simple. Make sure that you take responsibility for what you post on your site.
I moved over to the UK in February 2004 and for months fought with different banks to setup a bank account.
Then a nice knob-jockey for the Labour party came around to the house and signed me up on the voters register so that I could vote in the elections.
I was always told that I could not open an account due to regulations in this country, even though one of the banks was the same bank I used back in Canada.
To make a long story short once it was discovered I was on the voters register I was immediatly approved for an account, a credit card, and offered more loans than you can shake a stick at. Even though this is the same bank I dealt with in Canada there is no way they would have done this back home, and definitly not with the sort of money they wanted to throw at me over here.
Banks get ripped off because they are greedy.
We cloak a piece of machinary or say a building, then we cannot find it as it is cloaked.
I mean this is not that much of a far fecthed idea.
One good aspect is to cloak all politicians, then we don't know where they are, so we cannot be held liable if we "accidentally" run a few over.
I am moving from Orange soon enough, thier service is horrid
According to the Bitter Wallet site
"From what we can tell, the changes in charges are for all pay monthly contracts that commenced sometime after the end of May. A text message has been sent to some (but seemingly not all) customers informing them of the changes. Some customers are being told that if they haven’t received the text then either a) they can’t cancel, or b) they aren’t eligible to cancel, or c) they will have to wait until they receive a text."
Thing is I started my contract at the end of October '08.
If I am not mistaken, as it can happen at times. In the US the GPA is done on a 4.0 scale not a 3.0 so 2.7 is a pretty miserable rate. And according to a quick search on the Monroe College webstie which you have linked to it has GPA mentioned up to 3.75 so an A would be 4.0 and B- would at worse be around 3.25 if that low. I had trouble finding work after completing my Networking/Programming course and I got a 3.9 GPA.
Harsh times, mediocre GPA, and you expect to get a job, should have tried a lot harder in school.
But a couple of weeks ago I ordered a mini laptop mouse. The type which can easily get lost on any IT persons desktop. Along with this order I also ordered a laptop. The box with the mouse arrived two days earlier than the laptop. I was surprised to lift the box and find it so light as I thought it contained the laptop. No, it did not but the box the mouse came in was bigger than the box the laptop arrived in.
I have been on contract with them for the past few months and as soon as it expires I am leaving and will not go back. I keep losing connection and thier service is getting worst. It is to the point that I get missed call notices 2 and 3 days after the fact. I have sent a text and it has not gone out until sometimes a couple of hours after attempting to send. I use to think it was the phone until I talked to buddies who are with Orange and they are having the same sort of issue.
any film that has music, singing, and dance. This includes Grease, which is quite sexually charged with teen pregnancy and talk fo what happens on a beach. He also loves Rocky Horror Picture Show which has a transsexual singing and dancing.
Ever think that the children like the show for the show not the what some nut job with too much money and time, and not enough brains to just enjoy something.
Was with O2, changed to Orange and will change back to O2 when the contract is up. The worst bit of service I have ever had is recently with Orange.
But on to telemarketing, had one call my mobile regarding mobile broadband and laptop deals they have. Funny thing is that when he called I was online looking for a deal on a laptop, mentioned this to him, the line went dead, and I have not heard back since. hehehehe
