.....the fee will be frozen at £145 , but you get free M&S vouchers (aka food stamps).
BTW.... Blind people get the licence at half price .. WTF? .Never understood that. And why can't you get a bill in braille at the allpay places?
ps ... can we have a "Bodgers" icon?
(Bodgers Senor? we don' need no steenkin' Bodgers!)
.... they haven't considered the requirements of the future economy. Most people won't buy one unless they HAVE TO. (ie, no more oil. )
.... now just bear with me, and imagine one of these parked behind the business end of a horse at a roundabout.
On the other hand, why bother with batteries at all, and go the "scalextric" route?
..i lost a 1.5tb drive recently as it fell over when spinning up. Luckily it just had ... er... some home movies on it . Hot -swappable NAS boxes are definitely the way to go with media centres
and drives. Any news from Synology on compatability? Toshiba is usually compatable , but don't know if the firmware would be up to this level.
"BT's chairman Sir Mike Rake has joined Tesco and M&S in slamming standards in British schools"......
No mention about Royal Mail or Macdonalds there, i notice?
BTW... who or what are we being compared to?
..this is an emotive, semanticallly null statement if ever there was one ... unless he's using the term "standards" ironically?
(....he's not comparing us to the...GERMANS? is he???)
As a Maidenhead resident, I was very dissapointed with the con-servatives when they ..finally... introduced the scheme. M&S vouchers and coffee vouchers? (No Lidl, Asda,Tesco vouchers? or how about some of MY cash back?...no? )
Asda reading has a pretty decent recycling area, unlike Sainsburys maidenhead. or Tescos.
My workplace also has decent recycling, so if I prepare food at work, i generate little waste.
In fact , the only thing I use is the civic amenity site in stafferton way for garden waste and white goods disposal .Haven't put a bin out since September 2008, after i got a snotty note about not putting stuff in the correct container.
...in some local legislation, for what state , I can't remember.
The result was , the legislation was VERY detailed, and, as a result, the legislative paper itself was declared obscene by its own standards.
Think it's either a brown bag or blue pencil job at crown publications again.

then again. she could always go outside the EU for her broadband

... i'm wondering who EXACTLY seems to be the most paranoid about these artificially-created-not-in-Genesis-type pandemics? ...and where are they likely to happen ? ( Quote from this guy says he will earn billions of us dollars as a result....)
All I can say is thank FSM for the ash cloud.
Flames...volcano.
(Theme tune to Hawaii five -o plays in the background)
..I'm sure some electrophoresis was involved at some stage, which does involve some high voltage gradients: Lightning is more Physical Sciences forte.
And as for the "spinally challenged" technician, he/she is more likely to be the Safety Officer.
PS .... can we have a smiley icon wearing Safety Specs???
Remember what happened to Peppa Pig!!
......not all so-called "Yobbos" are in the BNP, and i'm replying to say how shocked and apalled I am at such cultural profiling , and offer the following links for your personal consideration.

.... chavs, on the other hand? does this include cornish individuals?
I have a feeling that pensions are going to be a real issue in the next two or three decades.
5% pay increase to compensate for pension changes only benefits the taxman.
Minimum earnings £13500????? .... and how long before people start talking up the next house price bubble? I'm going to take a leaf out of the german's book on that score, and use a Euro-SIPP to put a down-payment on a place in Bora-Bora, or somewhere... certainly won't be in England... too many old people.
No support for iPlayer means that i DON'T need to pay a licence fee. Poor windows users have to pay, because they CAN access iplayer. (wether or not they do)
I'm looking for the app that allows content streaming over something like VLC from a fixed server , or maybe i'll just use ol' fashioned Bittorrent . XVID's only... i hate bluray.
Either way, no loss.
BTW... what OS do the PVR's mainly use ?
A MANDATORY requirement when using a public convenience on any form of public transport.
(And some train / bus stations and Airports too)
Did she make a visual check of the pan for blockage and potentially biohazardous material?
Did she make sure the door was capable of being secured?
Did she ensure there was sufficient sanitary material ( bog roll) to ensure she didn't place her fellow passengers at risk?
etc etc.....
that's not strictly true ..... ever wonder about flavoured milk here in the uk? Pasteurisation lowers any bacterial load , but not all the milk resulting is pure white... BTW, the farmyard is NOT a clean place . pasteurisation is good.
Mastitis is an STD here , and farmers are under severe pressure to make sure it dosen't occur on THEIR farm.
Elf 'n safety etc.
WRT the hormones, most (not all ) are denatured in the cooking process . The problem is the slaughterhouses, farms, etc, become a selective environment for resistant "superbugs" ,
MRSA etc .
As for the fate of the uk dairy industry, i'm going back to watch "zombieland" with relish......and chips !!! :-)
But not at selly oaks. I had the feeling of impending doom as soon as soon as mandelson got on board. I also felt that it was a shame todd stitzer (he's american, by the way) was retiring in the next year or two... he would've missed all the growth he was promising investors .
I've also heard Irene Rosenfeld (our new boss) talk about "the best of both" ....and then talking job losses (sorry .."efficiencies")
The best of both? sounds like " the best of the best" ... Maybe theyll play top gun or MIB at full volume when she arrives , so we don't hear the gunshots from behind the bike sheds!
