This is long overdue and will bring a nice boost to the coffers.
We are already funding it.... overseas withe bloated and much abused 12bn overseas aid budget that idiot Cameron insists on.
BT wont be broken up for the simple reason they have a massive massive pension deficit and if they go bust the taxpayer is on the hook for it. Its essentially a public sector unionised organisation pretending to be a private company.
The US declared economic war on Europe with a 9bn fine on BNP Paribas and fines on other banks. The EU is simply firing back.
Seems Russia has just pointed out to the rest of the world that they know all the backdoors the US has planted. This comes just after they told the world they have malware on the Wests banking systems which mean they can effectively destroy the western banks if they want to. I wonder if this has anything to do with the Ukraine conflict?
Apart from the French and German efforts at appeasement we should realise we are at war with Russia.
Enjoyed the film and a clever ending, definitely wont go down well in America as its not a happy ending.
Didnt know they were paid to let ads through, have now uninstalled. Disgrace.
Put a bullet in the little traitor.
A friend with a 4S installed IOS8 and it slowed his phone to an utter crawl. Unusable.
My guess is this is GCHQ getting a bit of revenge on the Germans by outing their spying.
They should play the voice on the news so hopefully someone can recognise them and then they can never return home without spending the rest of their miserable pathetic lives in jail. Utter scum.
Good luck getting a signal with Vodafone outside of London. I used to get one then it stopped, seems they decided they want the cash without bothering with a network.
Its what happens when organisations get money regardless of how they perform. Layer upon layer of idiots each trying to deflect responsibility. The BBC is not fit for purpose and should be sold off.
Sadly, many have no clue that Britain is now just a small island off Europe which becomes less relevant as each year goes by. Leaving the EU will not bring back the glory years, it will simply mean the UK has to follow EU/US rules without having any input into the decisions.
The EU isnt perfect but its better to be inside the tent as they say.
I saw Cameron popped up to the Shetlands for a visit a week or so back. One guesses that if Scotland goes independent then the Shetlands.
I'm hoping they vote yes, we dont like hangers on.
Anything to say on the fact Facebook makes the Most Recent sort more and more difficult to use?
Surely VR is trying to simulate The Matrix? Why not just play for real in life?
I thought the Public sector unions wanted to provide the best service for the lowest cost or is it they just care about their jobs and couldnt give two shits about the customer. Judging by the Welsh NHS its most definitely the second.
Welfare spending is a joke, the really disabled get too little and the pretend disabled get free cars. Its a good thing to reform the whole area its just they put that idiot IDS in charge.
Couldnt access for a couple of days although they seem to have tech issues on a pretty regular basis.
3D gives me a headache and after the first thing coming out of the screen its pretty dull.
As you've just disclosed national secrets I'm guessing you have broken the law. As such please expect a visit.
BT has the Govt by the nuts with its massive pension deficit as when it was privatised the Govt said it will stand behind the pensions. BT has used this stick to beat each Govt with when in reality it should be broken up.
Looking at the rest of the comments it would appear most seem to deal in right versus wrong rather than the economic war which is what is going on. Would they prefer to work for a UK/US company or a Chinese one who doesnt reward success but simply steals it.
Surely GPS means we dont need drivers with the "knowledge" anymore. Massive cost saving for consumers. Shame for taxi drivers but if we blocked everything that put people out of work we would still be living in mud huts.
I want my passwords stored except for the ones that involve money. Many sites dont allow password saving even though no cash changes hands. I'll decide.
Shame Cameron didnt leave with her. Waste of space of a man.
Its not on all the profiles I tried, a couple showed. Although anyone I had a connection with had it every time.
Its true, just look in the source and you get the email address. Wow, that is a massive blunder and surely a breach of data protection?
Used to get a signal in my house, now, nothing. Not even outside. Moved to O2 and bingo, back in business. Missus still on Vodafone and rarely able to get a signal outside of a town centre. Utter crap.
Do they buy iphones because the people wont have any money with which to buy it.
No chance plod will be able to work out how to do anything on windows 8!!!
Shame they dont allow people to say they dont want their data stored or processed outside the EU. Would kill off outsourcing outside of Europe and generate European jobs.
And the yanks feel they can have a go at Russia for invading a country and torturing people they dont like. America is a disgrace.
Dont know anyone who uses it.
Simple economics, US firms used to save money on Indian outsourcing then Indian wages skyrocketed so no there is no benefit to the US. They now simply move the jobs back onshore to US citizens. Bye bye India.
Live in Wales and had Vodafone which used to work then they seemed to cull their network so no it barely gets signal anywhere outside a major town. O2 still works in the wild. Worth the money.
Microsoft will have to cover the cost of fixing said bricked Xbox's as owners can claim a child was messing about with the controller and they happened to hit the sequence shown.
Simple equation really, Amazon works on really small margins so the less tax it pays the lower our prices. We are already paying 20% VAT as well as having been taxed on the income to begin with. How about the Govt spends a lot less then we can decide for ourselves what to spend it on?
I thought the only people who shop at Dixons are the ones who use Wonga and Cash converters? I dont think Wonga will lend 68k?
Thought they could do it themselves with several hundred contractors. Epic fail.
Maybe the Guardian will print the details since they seem to hate the UK so much.
I wonder if Cameron realises the fact if there is a blackout all his voters will desert to a party which promises to keep the lights on? I'm amazed he has allowed our coal powered plants to be shut with nothing to replace it. Europe is committed to Economic suicide with the Lib Dems as the main cheerleaders.
Pity the poor middle class Americans suffering UK style NHS. Pay for the best but end up queuing behind those who havent paid for a crappy third world service. Welcome to communism.
So a few people have a hobby which could be replaced by using a phone and then allowing the majority to use wifi. Why is the country always run for the benefit of a minority rather than the majority?
English taxpayers giving money to Scotland so they can subsidise jobs at the expense of England. Why dont the English get a vote on an independent Scotland?
But I doubt it is.....
Split infrastructure from services but they wont because BT has many billions pension deficit which if it goes bust sits with the Government due to the contract when privatised. I love bailing out unionised pensions.
Isnt it time the EU told Micorsoft they have to keep patching as they have a monopoly. Either that or they must give the source code to a third party who can charge for updates. Microsoft cannot be a monopoly and then expect to get away for free.
