My guess is this is GCHQ getting a bit of revenge on the Germans by outing their spying.

Recognise the voice?

They should play the voice on the news so hopefully someone can recognise them and then they can never return home without spending the rest of their miserable pathetic lives in jail. Utter scum.

What's the nature of your emergency, Vodafone?

Ian 45

No signal

Good luck getting a signal with Vodafone outside of London. I used to get one then it stopped, seems they decided they want the cash without bothering with a network.

£100m DMI omnifail: BBC managers' emails trawled by employment tribunal

Ian 45

Public money

Its what happens when organisations get money regardless of how they perform. Layer upon layer of idiots each trying to deflect responsibility. The BBC is not fit for purpose and should be sold off.

Has Europe cut the UK adrift on data protection?

Ian 45

Little Englander syndrome

Sadly, many have no clue that Britain is now just a small island off Europe which becomes less relevant as each year goes by. Leaving the EU will not bring back the glory years, it will simply mean the UK has to follow EU/US rules without having any input into the decisions.

The EU isnt perfect but its better to be inside the tent as they say.

Scotland's BIG question: Will independence cost me my broadband?

Ian 45

Cameron in the Shetlands

I saw Cameron popped up to the Shetlands for a visit a week or so back. One guesses that if Scotland goes independent then the Shetlands.

I'm hoping they vote yes, we dont like hangers on.

Ian 45

Public Service?

I thought the Public sector unions wanted to provide the best service for the lowest cost or is it they just care about their jobs and couldnt give two shits about the customer. Judging by the Welsh NHS its most definitely the second.

Gee thanks, Ofcom! BT 'pleased' to hang onto pricing 'freedom' for Openreach fibre product

Ian 45

by the nuts

BT has the Govt by the nuts with its massive pension deficit as when it was privatised the Govt said it will stand behind the pensions. BT has used this stick to beat each Govt with when in reality it should be broken up.

US authorities name five Chinese military hackers wanted for espionage

Ian 45

Its war.

Looking at the rest of the comments it would appear most seem to deal in right versus wrong rather than the economic war which is what is going on. Would they prefer to work for a UK/US company or a Chinese one who doesnt reward success but simply steals it.

London cabbies to offer EVEN WORSE service in protest against Uber

Change is not fair!

Surely GPS means we dont need drivers with the "knowledge" anymore. Massive cost saving for consumers. Shame for taxi drivers but if we blocked everything that put people out of work we would still be living in mud huts.

Tata says USA rejecting HALF of Indians' work visa requests

Ian 45

Economics

Simple economics, US firms used to save money on Indian outsourcing then Indian wages skyrocketed so no there is no benefit to the US. They now simply move the jobs back onshore to US citizens. Bye bye India.

MPs back call to boycott low-taxed tat from Amazon over Xmas

Ian 45

Tax avoidance = lower prices

Simple equation really, Amazon works on really small margins so the less tax it pays the lower our prices. We are already paying 20% VAT as well as having been taxed on the income to begin with. How about the Govt spends a lot less then we can decide for ourselves what to spend it on?

Price rises and power cuts by 2016? Thank the EU's energy policy

Ian 45

Are you listening Cameron?

I wonder if Cameron realises the fact if there is a blackout all his voters will desert to a party which promises to keep the lights on? I'm amazed he has allowed our coal powered plants to be shut with nothing to replace it. Europe is committed to Economic suicide with the Lib Dems as the main cheerleaders.

Isnt it time the EU told Micorsoft they have to keep patching as they have a monopoly. Either that or they must give the source code to a third party who can charge for updates. Microsoft cannot be a monopoly and then expect to get away for free.
