FAIL

English Taxpayers

English taxpayers giving money to Scotland so they can subsidise jobs at the expense of England. Why dont the English get a vote on an independent Scotland?

Ian 45

Hopefully milestone based payments?

But I doubt it is.....

Ian 45

Break up BT

Split infrastructure from services but they wont because BT has many billions pension deficit which if it goes bust sits with the Government due to the contract when privatised. I love bailing out unionised pensions.

Ian 45

monopoly?

Isnt it time the EU told Micorsoft they have to keep patching as they have a monopoly. Either that or they must give the source code to a third party who can charge for updates. Microsoft cannot be a monopoly and then expect to get away for free.

Ian 45

Free speech?

Insulting certain people is a crime, there is no such thing as free speech in the UK. This merely extends the principle further such that only pre-approved words may be used. Thin end of the wedge.

Ian 45

TV - Iplayer

Use the internet on the TV for Iplayer and Lovefilm but never for the web.

Ian 45
Thumb Up

Classics

I was only looking for Paperboy and Defender for my phone this week.

Ian 45

Prosecute Google?

How about prosecuting Google for giving links to the torrents?

Ian 45
Thumb Up

Will buy it

Currently on the trial version and have to say its so much better than the keyboard my S3 came with. Worth 2 quid!

Ian 45
FAIL

operating system

You only buy a new operating system when you buy a new PC. Who cares if it has Windows 7 or 8, I will pick the cheapest.

Ian 45
FAIL

Too late.

Finally got rid of the work BB with a Galaxy S3 and pretty much everyone I know is doing the same.

Ian 45

Cant afford it?

If we cant afford to look after these places maybe we should let them go? The Foreign office likes to pretend it still rules the world but it doesnt.

Ian 45
WTF?

$1.5bn?

$1.5bn to go an do some experiments on Mars. How about spending that amount on a cure for cancer, who cares if there was life on Mars in the past. Its irrelevant!

Ian 45

Still have to google to find options in Excel

Should have learned from the disaster of office 2007 what pissing around with the UI does.

Ian 45
FAIL

Break up BT

Should be like the electric, one company manages the network (highly regulated) whilst service companies offer competing offerings for the customer. BT gets away with it as it has a huge pension deficit which would crystalise if this happened which neither the Govt or the unions want (as their defined benefit pension would close). The public are being ripped off to pay for overpaid employees just as in most of the public sector.

Ian 45

Less than 2 years

Employed less than 2 years so no such thing as unfair dismissal. I wonder how much "extra" she put on, most likely a lot.

Ian 45
FAIL

2bn?

How can it possibly cost 2bn to put a catapult on it? Whats it made of, solid gold? Sounds like someone changed their mind and the only way to get the politicians to fall for it was to make up a massive number. All this so some Scottish union members can keep their jobs.....

Ian 45
Thumb Down

Can death get any worse?

Not only died, possibly horribly in a bag. But then his web viewing history is revealed to the world plus a video of him waggling his arse. Ouch.

Ian 45

Mine is on the list

Still using mine, had a couple of other players but they break so i go back to the nano! Hopefully a new battery on the way!!!

Ian 45

Pension deficit

About the value of the pension deficit then.....

Ian 45

Steel

If I recall correctly, Allentown was famous for steelmaking. So all the workers should be used to the heat?

Ian 45

why?

Why does BT still control the infrastructure? I guess its because their whopping pension deficit is covered by the UK Govt......

Ian 45

April Fool?

They cant even build a simple payment system, the chances that they can identify and match data from the internet to tax records is pretty slim!!!

Ian 45

simple solution

Provide an option for customers to be able to opt put of having their data seen by anyone outside of the EU. This would shut down outsourcing overnight.

Ian 45

Serial Number

They wouldnt need the serial number as they could work this out once they had monitored a user entering their pin + number as they could check which serial number provided that number at the specific time the user entered it.

Seems like RSA keys are pretty useless against the Chinese....

Ian 45

Free Speech laws

The sooner they pass a free speech law the better. Time for the fascist lefties to be thrown out.

Ian 45

Great

Didnt bother with Iplayer until it came as an option on my PS3 and discovered an amazing piece of technology. Very little buffering and a great picture, I now watch most of the tv via iplayer. As the piece says it would be good if they had it for the ipad.

Ian 45

Rubbish

Every time I got to the airport long term parking it uses this automatic number plate reader and always confuses a 0 for D. In that case the scanner is no more than a few feet away. Quite how a scanner 30 ft up a pole can read it in bad weather is beyond me!

Ian 45
FAIL

Crime

Funny how Japan has far less crime and Tokyo feels safe no matter what time of day you are there.

You would be surprised at how many in the UK support the death penalty! I still cannot work out how someone who takes another life gets a "life" sentence yet is out after 10 years.......

Ian 45

V1?

So they have bought the plans for a V1 from the internet and think they are onto a winner! No doubt Israel could shoot it down with their current defence system so the only threat would be if iran filled it with biological/chemical weapons in which case bye bye Iran.

Ian 45

sales

So this effectively says that salary sacrifice is actually a sale of services to employees! How long before they decide giving someone a job is giving them a service and so subject to VAT. Labour wanted to put an extra 1% on employers NI, here seems a great opportunity to add an 20% tax from January.

Ian 45

Cold?

Simple way to reduce energy usage is to keep putting energy prices up. After seeing my gas bill this winter I'm looking to move to a warmer country and thus reduce my energy use......... thieving gits.

Ian 45

Cooling system?

Cant they use a fan? Seems a bit of a faff to get the air con fixed!

Ian 45

Thinking

The reality tv show idea got me wondering how low the odds would be before people didnt apply. I bet 100-1 would get loads of applications. Even 50-1 would be full. I reckon around 15-1 would be the lowest...... great idea though!

Ian 45

Clever

Now you know why most companies wont use open source software in business..... it could suddenly become not quite open source and they get sued for billions.

Oracle is doing Microsoft and the other giants a massive favour with this.

Ian 45

Car Registered?

So many cars in London are not registered to the driver and many dont even have insurance or tax. How about having some police to pull them over and remove their cars as cameras arent going to stop these idiots.

Ian 45

Swearing

Noticed on last nights QI they bleeped out the word fuck even though it was on after 10pm. They seemed to allow shit though...... The UK is now so PC.

Ian 45

Unions

Ah yes, the same lot who wrote off the UK economy in the 20th century and now about to try their best to finish the job in the 21st.

If they dont like their salary they can go and get another job. Simples.

Ian 45

Homer Simpson?

I can see Homer Simpson doing this. Genius!

Ian 45

France

Remember seeing this in France about 15 years ago, amazing. Dozens and dozens of shooting stars! Chances of seeing it from the UK....... about as much chance as this being the hottest summer. Pissing it down as we speak...

Ian 45

11 from 30

Any chance that some rounds took out more than one person? Suspect said chap will be hanging from some tree shortly.

Ian 45

Who cares

No money to go to the moon anyway. Nothing there and whilst I realise the human population is spiralling out of control it hasnt quite reached the point of shooting them off to live on the moon.....

Ian 45

Now end the secrecy!

The scandal of social workers stealing children on heresay needs to be brought into the light. Hopefully this is the start!

Ian 45

Central Govt

Quite simple, make councils raise all their taxes locally. Then we can vote locally to get rid of the idiots. The country is borrowing 160bn a year and these dicks are buying ipads!

Ian 45

Lamo paid?

So how much was he paid to blow wikileaks? sounds like a set up to me.

Ian 45
FAIL

Aggressive

To be fair to the police, said copper could have blagged that man was aggressive so he tazered him on purpose and but was big enough to admit to a mistake.

Tazered chap sounds like he is going for the jackpot on the compo though......

Ian 45

Some good, some bad

I like the way the menus are easily found at the top of the page but the rest of it is pants. Seems to scroll on forever, too much content on one page......

Ian 45

Satellites

I was under the impression that the west now have satellites that can track changes in gravity in the sea and thus detect submarines real time?

As for the so called aid we send to India, think of it as export subsidies rather than aid.....

Ian 45

Wikileaks no more

Since they dobbed him in I refuse to look at the site. Cant trust em.

Ian 45

Software

My company has just brought in software that collects together my calls and I have to define which are private and which are business. At the moment I dont have to pay for personal calls but its obvious which way this is going.

As soon as they begin to charge for personal calls they will find it is switched off between 5PM and 9am.
