It's taken a month for them to fix the link they had to Europe, their backup link had terrible packet loss. after the main undersea cable was cut.
Broadband prices in proportion
They should charge less instead of a flat fee using an up-to service.
Someone paying £35 p/m for a 24Mbit connection but only gets 6Mbit should only pay 25% (£8.75).
Also none of this throttling rubbish I would rather pay more to download more.
My Mobile provider "O2" compresses images so on Firefox Mobile its not just bad colour, It;s pixellated too.
Re: Hanlon's Razor
Guns are cheaper than a Porsche, and yes people who DO get a Porsche i've never seen going slowly.
Then again this an American promo. where guns are given away with new bank accounts.
Your getting confused your connection getting 0.13MB/s not 0.13Mb/s.
0.13 (MB / s) = 1.04 Mb / s
So its only 4 times more bandwidth without any error correction.
You can always get satellite broadband if you want the real NASA feel to you internet :-)
And who will provide phones for the app
How can they afford the phone to even get the app. (unless they count of bank of Mum & Dad)

Why would i need a colour screen to read black and white pages?
and epub? there are free converters that i have no problem using.
I can't get every song ever published for free anymore. Well... at least from this site.
This is the problem with something that is so prolific, as soon as one site goes down another comes up usually on a server housed "Outside the UK". Then again even having a link pointing to another site now seems go get you into trouble.
Look at Richard O'Dwyer who ran TVShack.
If i leave a in iPhone on the beach.
They should cordon it off too :-)
Those exploding batteries are deadly.
Birds are extra rare, i used to work in a salad factory back in my uni days. It was mainly Frogs and Spiders that make it through. Must of been well hidden in the bag if the husband didn't even notice it when buying it at the shops.
It was obvious they knew each other beforehand, 200 yards away isnt that much different than calling your neighbour over the phone and hurling abuse.
Then again the parents fault for leaving Call of Duty to be the baby sitter.
What no free healthcare?
Sounds more like a competition, Get your balls cut off for only 1 Million Dollars.

Exchange is ready Infinity isn't
My exchange is already switch to infinity. But the best they can give me is 17.50Mbit (estimate for February 28th) I'll think i will stay with my current 22Mbit line on the up to 24Mbit Talk Talk.

Bundled OS with hardware ?
Apple sues New York
Won't be long then before Apple sues "the Big Apple" for trademark infringement
Just put an apple logo on it then.
If only they had one near me
I would love a cinema that banned mobile phones and actually kicked them out, so annoying seeing a lit up phone in a pitch black room.
non scientific guess here, but they look like volcanic fissures
Heavy Metal can fly
Unless the uranium oxide pellets are exposed from their casings, and material is on fire, i doubt it will go anywaye.
Most other things already do this
Even my sony Blu ray play likes to connect to the internet and regularly "update" itself.
With app, music, and video Piracy, its been more of an incentive to persuade developers to stay with them if they can guarntee ligitmacy.
Once again its because of the few people who pirate eveyone else has to suffer with DRM.
I did a degree in Network Computing, Java was trusted down my throat and was the only subject that was mandatory to choose from in my 1st year.
I didn't care about java, didn't need it, didn't want to do it.
C++ i did a collage and i loved it. Apart from my Cisco CCNA course (that was the 'network' computing part of the degree), i don't use anything else i learnt at uni.
Public pays less
I work in public sector IT, private sector pays allot more for the same sort of work i do.
i couldn't find any CPU diff between the Browsers on my workstation, must have been a very old pc?

Since Isreal makes its own passports like most countries, I'm sure its not hard for them to fake them also.
They have a long history of doing this before with kidnappings and assassinations.
US, Myanmar, Liberia
US, Myanmar, Liberia are the only countries still not using the metric system.
Dell = Rip off Britain
Once again Dell are ripping the UK off again by adding an extra £500 onto the price tag compared to the US market.
