not everyone has sky. £145 is a lot if you dont earn much. should TV tax really go to the radio? i know loads of people that dont even own a radio. plus with virgin/sky you have hundreds of channels and not a couple. BBC3 and 4 rarely have anything worth watching on and if its half decent it will be on Dave after a month or 2 anyway

i have the top virgin package and sky sports HD channels but as soon as the footy finishes i cancel sky for a couple of months. yes, i know it can be expensive but me and my son love watching football. you only ever saw FA cup and international games when i was younger. no league football was on the TV.

where do you see your 2nd hand games? i see loads for £10-15.

of course they will not reduce the price. all they will see is a big decline in SP games unless they offer good value for money like fallout games or games you play a lot like Fifa

who will pay £50 for a game that lasts 7 hours and then you are stuck with it.

i also get annoyed at PSN pricing. its always RRP and more expensive than shops where i resell my disk or trade it in.

the EU need to stop this. they poke their noses into enough things, what about consumer rights?!?

AV amp or optical splitter is what you need. splitters are dirt cheap.

'surely a player of this price' isnt aimed at people without a full hdmi setup anyway? i have 9 hdmi sockets on my AVR :) and will get superior sound than coax/optical.

i will agree that prison is not maybe the answer as the police whenever i have needed them have been useless cnuts themselves.

someone broke into house - took them 6 weeks to come over and finger print

someone stuffed my car in a car park. right infront of police controlled CCTV cameras - they didnt check it out or even contact me back

the issue is that divvies seem to be able to leave all their contact details when they do stuff like this now.

they only do music - as do most AVRs with DLNA.

100mb Ethernet is ample for that, even with uncompressed audio like WAV.

fair enough. we find it fun. its had a few updates and tweaks since the ps2 version.

we used to play the ps2 version but when i got my ps3 replaced it wouldnt play the ps2 games any more.

i think it adds much more variety to worms, which ive enjoyed for many years.

ive not had any nasty remotes for my AV kit (yammy, denon, sony & onkyo). out of the lot i prefer my new onkyo 709 AVR's remote. really nice and for the first time i can control all my devices with it! i love the TV on and all off buttons...

some of the guys who stole trivial things in the riots got 4 years. one guy nicked a pair of trainers from a shop that had already been broken into, he got 4 years.

how is that fair? surely he should just say 'ooh, ok' and give them back. isnt that how it worked for the MPs?
