I believe they are talking about public school, not college. Still it costs about $600 a semester for books at college and my college has a computer requirement. Thankfully, it is just a list of hardware instead of Windows or Apple.

So Many Uses

I have an XPS Gen 1 that looks a lot like that and it's still around after 8 years of my misuse. It's also a step, shield, pry bar, heater, and head rest.

They're missing the point

The law in question doesn't make it illegal in itself to send spam. It makes it illegal to forge your headers so it is harder to trace back to you. The link to it is below:

You have to use Python 2.6 instead of 3.0. 3.0 has some issues that don't quite make it backwards compatible with 2.x.
