Cure for cyber bullying
Real case quite a few years ago.
A victim was given the bullies phone number and address.
This victim was a tough nut.
The bullying stopped.
Is the Lightning 2 as good as Lightning
Can it intercept U2s?
Can it catch an airliner from behind while said airliner is supercruising?
Can it climb at supersonic speeds?
Re: One huge problem
Thanks
I reckon 75% have camera shake but I have a few good shots as it was the only photo device I had on me.
My SLR leaks light and films are now £15 for 36, my video camera is a bit bulky but its stills are pretty good.
Re: One huge problem
I don't - I can hold cameras steady
One huge problem
I just cannot hold a camera phone steady to take a shake free shot.
I struggle to get a decent pic from an N8.
When it is steady it is good.
Re: 41mp
YES
Re: People who practice doing something turn out to be better at it
Scifi guns don't suffer from bullet drop. Even the bullet based sniper weapons - you need to ask Visari Corp.
The speed of the normal rifles again you are close quarters, you tend to just shoot them.
I will try the lead in tonight if I play with the sniper, but normally if their hit box is in the sights, I shoot they die. But normally you are sniping people camping or running towards you. Panning a sniper rifle is not easy with motion controls.
Re: sketchup and 3d printing?
2D - or now make layers for brass etching, new growth market
Re: Why Did Google Sell SketchUp? Impact to 3D Printing
Definately wrong time.
I am investigating CAD at the moment, I was going to get this as it is supposed to be pretty good.
There is definately an increase in CAD in the modelling hobby, companies providing 3D printing, and also artwork for etching companies.
I want a rare unmodelled railway vehicle - draw up the artwork and send off to an etching company. want a small scale tram body - 3D printing company.
This is just starting to explode, and this is the wrong time for google to sell off CAD.
Re: astrologoly astromony
I didn't know what they were when I was younger and thought that they were all what now know are astronomers. Then I saw a L on TV wafflling on about contellations and what will happen, and thought what an idiot (small children do not know many suitable words) then knew what the differences were.
Re: Headshots?
Ammo I find is easy, spawn as engineer and make ammo crates, put up a turret, get killed, come back as a tactician with aerial bot, and get kills off both, sentries do not need ammo.
Re:Bassey
Huge difference as well between controller and pointing devices.
I cannot use a normal game controller for a competative FPS at all well.
I however can use pointing devices OK, in fact the first FPS controls I used were keyboards, then KBM.
But using a pointing device in a shooter game is so much more natural than wobbling a stick, so much so that I, an over 40 can compete with any other player and not get wiped out. I just position the aiming crosshairs over the opponent and shoot, not even needing to go to sights unless it is a long way away.
Mind you I find when in game sniping I need to hold my breath to avoid wobble.
Re: People who practice doing something turn out to be better at it
One huge difference with moving targets
Real guns you need to aim ahead, game guns you don't.
BTW 2 shots still missed the clay disc, I reckon another couple and I would have hit it.
Re: I better have a go with a neighbours guns then
I have used air pistols / rifles years ago fun actually.
1 go with shotgun
But never a bullet gun
Re: I better have a go with a neighbours guns then
Paper targets don't shoot back
Other players do shoot back - but there is no respawn in real life
Software bloat
I am personally going the other way, trying to squeeze a little more out of it.
Word processors need little hardware, if they do they are poorly written.
I better have a go with a neighbours guns then
All legal of course, ex army ect I have no issue with him owning them. But I play shooting games a lot with motion control so literally point & shoot, so I wonder how I would do?
Perhaps they should have done PS Sharpshooter & real rifle and see what happened.
B&N
I read it as BnL - Buy & Large off Wall-e
Re: MacBooks
So it was you who wrecked £22000 worth of MacBooks
Now I know how old AC is
So this AC is 11 years old and lives in Pennsylvania

There is a recession
I want one, held back by cost and by ONE PSN ACCOUNT PER VITA
Put multiple logins on and sell more
Re: Blank Reg
Fans of Resistance and Killzone do not like their games being knocked just for being PS3.
Insomniac have managed some good stories especially R3, RFoM was good as well.
Guerilla have a well thought out and imaginative universe and one of the best multiplayers out there, Killzone 3 is also a standout motion control game, so good that you feel better than DS3 players.
And finally we have a Brian Cox (actor) speech on every KZ game.
Re: Not surprised really
Usual Xbot fallacy.
What do you mean Sony never had an FPS to compete.
There are TWO here on the PS3 not just the ONE.
Basically do you want a WW2 era SciFi shooter or a interplantary war SciFi shooter?
And there are 8 games between them, PS2 PS3 PSP..
And you can see the heroes as people.
We have a baddies played by Ray Winstone & Sean Pertwee.
We have fantastic weapons, like ones which shoot through walls, we have cloaking technology, we have the best console graphics on a FPS, and the best story.
I'm happy with my pile of PS3 FPSs.
Re: Burn the witch
Still very annoying though and are a primary cause of torrenting in the UK.
Open GL
The PS3 graphics system is Open GL based.
Id use Open GL as well
They don't
At work one not interested, one can't afford, one not sure what to get (I recommended PS2 due to age of children and HUGE amount of cheap games), one hasn't got one yet, one PS3 owner.
Re: I'm confused
However Wii owners in general only tend to buy a few games, PS3/Xbox owners tend to buy more games for their systems.
Re: says
And what will they do to each other?
Man love?
Re: Prison 101
Mr Brand would be OK then.
Re: Well ...
Myra Hindly
Wests wife.
West topped himself - DIY execution. Their house has vanished as well. Evil bastards
Re: Why the evil empire must die.
It introduced me to torrenting, I can remember the first thing I torrented*, and the second thing was Lost.
* Got the DVD as well.
But everything I torrented was originally on FTA TV be it BBC, ITV, C4 or other Freeview channels, then got taken over by a pay channel.
Yet I still lost interest in Lost half way through the penultimate series, still have it to watch.
Oh and I haven't bothered to watch F1 this year as I still haven't managed to get a Astra 1 LNB.

Can we have a warning about walnut head as not a nice sight while eating?
Re: If 100000 people
The original owners statistics will still be there and stored, I can see the point in online passes, but if I bought a S/H game requiring them, either supply it or sell it to me cheap.
BTW Game SH prices are ridiculous.
Anthing under £15 is OK, paid £2.50 for a PS game
Re: The % game
Strange logic, perhaps they should look at the £25 instead.
Re: thats my buying power minimised then @Citizen Kaned
PSN is free
NOTW & Sun
I always thought NOTW was the Sunday Sun.
I remember when the term "Sun reader" was an insult.
Sun paper
Jasper Carrott had it right
Re: Does not Compute..
Also.
A lot of people are in favour of death sentence but the potential of miscarriages of justice make it for them a no no.
Same applies to mutilation ect.
MS Will be around
As long as it is the easiest way to run Windows executables on it.
So many applications, so many software houses.
We are looking at escape routes, but currently there is no need, but I feel that will change very soon.
Hmm Crytek
Been playing PSN version of Crysis, not a bad game, never bothered with 2 as the only time it was cheap it sold out.
Also there was a glut at the time and the demos were not good, plus Crytek are so boastfull.
Re: Commodore
You do know that they sold a lot in the UK?
You do know that Jeff Minter is British?
I think Jake was taking the piss
That is how it read to me.
He has a PDP11
There is another layer
In some industries your nearest equivalent of COTS is not really off the shelf, it is installed and maintained by the authors and is often slightly modified for customer specific reasons.
It is really in the gap between COTS and bespoke.
This is the market our company is in.
Sony & Nokia
Well when my N8 is due for replacement we are going Android, and I think those new Sony (Erricson) phones look really nice.
I just do not know what will happen to Nokia. Sony do need to shift their markets though - which they are doing.
2011 patent
And older phones so there was no way they could have broken the patents
Re: OMG pirates - on line accounts
And one thing I will say about HL2 and co is that your saves are on Steams servers.
I have Steam acheivements on the PC I actually earned on the PS3.
Good reason for an account here.
Re: ChIef, damnit
So do I and I keep thinking of the slap head and his mate
Re: No PC version
They do not want to do this as Halo is a system seller. They want to sell the console more than the game
This is a gamers TV
For bedrooms ect.
Hence the small size
Small / Medium businesses
The ones with 5 - 15 PC networks, we have everything from 2000 to 7 out there, even 1 Vista, and not long ago Win 98 OSR2.
Where is their replacement operating system for new PCs?
