Used it but switched to teamviewer

I have used that service -before it was acquired by avg- but I switched to Teamviewer a long time ago, since that offers a faster experience, and a better interface. and works on Linux....

Right, so a magazine for power companies (which essentially all are reliant on cheap coal) that explicitly states in its leader:

Is more reliable than a council of scientists??? I am curious how you get this kind of information in such an obscure publication? Are you a paid AGW denier? I have an article for you to read (in the Guardian, a well known publication with a somewhat larger circulation):

Riiight, I suppose you live on a mountain, but this guy doesn't:

I see no one has mentione Tresorit ( https://tresorit.com/features ) yet. As a european (Hungarian) company probably a good candidate these days...

Similar features to all the others, but also data is encrypted before it leaves your computer.

Duplicati is a free backup client that securely stores encrypted, incremental, compressed backups on cloud storage services and remote file servers. It works with Amazon S3, Windows Live SkyDrive, Google Drive (Google Docs), Rackspace Cloud Files or WebDAV, SSH, FTP (and many more).

Duplicati has built-in AES-256 encryption and backups can be signed using GNU Privacy Guard. A built-in scheduler makes sure that backups are always up-to-date. Last but not least, Duplicati provides various options and tweaks like filters, deletion rules, transfer and bandwidth options to run backups for specific purposes.

It is not about whether or not the activists have a point

Keep in mind that the way animal rights activists intimidate, bully and harass people has resulted in the widely acclaimed story of Laurie Pycroft: http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2006/feb/25/news.animalrights

And the fact they are now able to hide behind a site hosted in another country (whatever the legal status and quibbles bout it) means in no way that these tactics are suddenly less reprehensible.

There are (as yet) no additional charges in Groningen

If you can read Dutch, you can read here: http://gemeente.groningen.nl/afvalstoffenheffing/afvalbeheerplan/Afvalbeheerplan%202011-2015.pdf that in Groningen at least there currently are no initiatives to charge extra for more rubbish. The current differentiation is just based on the number of occupants in a house.

(By the way the original press release (in Dutch) is here: http://www.versvrdepers.nl/2012/09/persbericht-afvalcontainers-met.html and as one can see the "charging for rubbish" part was mainly tagged on by Mr Ray as it is only cursory mentioned in the release and then as applying to France where for some forms of waste additional payment is necessary from 2015)

As the Times notes, Oz in 2001 expunged apostrophes from place names "for the sake of consistency in the databases used by the emergency services". Mullaney rested his case with: “It would be tragic if the ambulance couldn’t find your street if you forgot to use the possessive apostrophe.”

Type in King's Heath in google; Type in Kings' Heath in google: it finds Kings Heath in (of all places Birmingham)! The argument is therefore fallacious and even silly.
