Implanted inside the skull or worn on the skin?

The article doesn't specifically say: is this thing going to be surgically implanted? If yes, why specify a low $10 price when the cost of the surgery will be a hundred times that? If no surgery is needed then I can understand the low cost requirement... although it does then raise the question of how the device will stimulate the cortex effectively through skin&bone.

What apparatus do you have to measure this? I tried drawing lines on the side of the bath but they were too close together

Divert the bath outflow to a bowl sitting on some kitchen scales. Get in the bath, fill with water right up to outflow. You are now ready to start measuring one pint of wine. Drink wine until scales read 135 MicroJubs. Congratulations, you have finished measuring one pint of wine while at the same time protecting your liver and getting clean(er).

No it isn't, and neither is Neptune.

Neptune should be where Pluto is. I wonder what bumped Neptune into the wrong place? I wonder if Pluto is a remnant of that event?

Re: Begun the Ad Wars have

On a TV I mute the adverts...

You say that like they wouldn't unmute them if they could.

Spotify pauses ads when you mute/lower the computer volume. This could conceivably be a feature of TV ads at some point in the future. I really really hope not.

p.s. If your computer has external speakers with a volume control, you can mute the ads there without Spotify noticing.

Re: GIF

But it doesn't change the proper and original pronunciation of GIF as "jif".

It may not change the original pronunciation, but the original pronunciation was not proper: the inventor mis-pronounced it. G is for Graphical. The inventor stuffed up the original pronunciation.

...cleared out all the space around the object of smaller objects (fail).

The new definition has always bothered me because Pluto's orbit crosses that of Neptune, which surely means Neptune hasn't cleared its orbit of smaller objects, which surely means Neptune is merely a dwarf planet and not a proper planet? Yes I'm aware of the resonance which means Neptune and Pluto don't collide, but still... crossing orbits!!!
