Still on 1st one here
Get a few game disc read problems though.
Why can't they make them look normal!?
Is there actually a reason why most leccy cars look so peculiar?
26% of visitors to my company's site use IE6. All this stop IE6 campaign that's going on has my full backing but not sure that my boss would agree if we lost a quarter of our visitors!
Still, makes our lives more interesting I suppose.
Don't Ferrari F1 use AMD?
...have the made it look not only horrible, but stupid as well?
Hardly anyone's going to buy a car that looks like that. Why not stick with the successful, tried and tested car-shaped car?
I got a J132 a few weeks ago
I went on holiday to a place where the only network available is Orange so I shopped about a bit and got myself a J132. I must say that I was really impressed with it for the price I paid (£14-something with £10 talk time).
The most impressive thing for me what the immortal battery - it never seems to die! Despite the girlfriend texting on it every 5 minutes, the battery lasted a week with no recharge. When we got back, I left it on and 1½ weeks later it still showed half battery.
the 'torch' is a mildly amusing feature. It shows a blank white screen. Very creative...!
It's now tucked away waiting for the next time we go away or need cheap cinema tickets.
I've had an N70 for 3 years...
...and I think this is the phone I've been waiting for. No slidy/flippy nonsense, looks similar to use. Lovely.

Jonathan Ive _CBE_, if you please ;)
I own no Apple stuff but their designs are excellent, Jonathan Ive truly is an inspiration to all kinds of designer all over the world. The man who saved Apple just by making things look nice - amazing really if you think about it.
I wish Steve and his family well.
PS3: Not for me
I don't have an HD telly, rendering a Blu-Ray player next to useless.
I don't want to spend around £400 on a games console. I just upgraded my computer for about that and I'd use that a lot more.
I have an Xbox 360. Have done for years. The one drawback for me is that size of the hard drive. I don't want to spend £80 on a new one so I'll make do. It still works, still plays all the same games that it did so no real cause for concern.
I got a Wii just before Christmas. It allows me and my friends to play a load of fun, easy to pick up games and appeals to not only my friends but parents too. I can't see my parents sitting there with a PS3 controller in their hands and having the same amount of fun (especially with my father only having 1 arm!).
The PS3 is very good if you're willing to outlay the cash on it and an HD telly (which judging by what Sony are saying, an HD telly is necessary). I'm not so it's not for me.
We've been told to...
...unplug our phones as soon as they've charged and only to charge them when they're about to run out in order to save the planet. Now they're manufacturing something that constantly draws power and charges anything you put on it.
If they're banning proper light bulbs it won't be long until this is gone either.
Great idea though.
My dad got an Atari 800XL when I was 2 years old. I was brought up on a combination of Frogger, Pitfall II, Miner2049er and BASIC. Built my love of technology it did.
Oh, back to the subject. I've got an XBOX 360. It's quite good.
So many. Here's a short selection
anything ending in 'tard'
Don't like Webinar either
cloud (in regards to computing, proper clouds are safe)
any word with numbers in instead of letters. I make a point of saying it with the numbers in (l33t = "elthreethreetee", cu l8r = "cue elator" and so on)
Before I begin, let me say "sorry" for being out of touch with the youth of today (I'm 27 going on 80).
"Law enforcement fail caught on camera"
I don't understand this "fail" stuff, surely it should be
"Law enforcement failure caught on camera"
Sorry to be boring, but can someone explain the origins and meaning of this "fail" thing, so I can join in, be one of the crowd, and find it funny as well?
Searching Every 5th Person
This would take loads of police officers if the bus station is anything like where I live (A nondescript, provincial Northern town). Also, what if a bus full of old dears got off, would 1 one 5 of those get checked?
Generally speaking, if you behave yourself and keep out of trouble you wont get stabbed whether the bloke sitting next to you on the bus has a knife or not. It's not often someone gets stabbed for walking along a street (not to say it never happens, before anyone starts).
Does anyone know the answer to this: If I'm carrying my Leatherman penknife, engraved as a present for my 21st birthday, is that considered a weapon?
...hate the show.
I've watch two fairly recently and despite the snazzy stuff and surprisingly abundant prizes I can't stand to watch due to the presenters.
I can't afford anything they show either! One I watch a little while back had a telly for £3000ish. Don't I get exactly the same programmes on my existing telly? No point in HD either if your eyesight isn't up to much, like mine.
We didn't think of it first...
...so no-one can have it until we've done it ourselves at a higher cost and with lower quality than the original.
Anyone else think that...
...Vista could be the best thing to happen to Microsoft in quite a while? Looks like they've learnt, albeit the hard way.
Still gonna stick with Ubuntu myself but my missus seems quite pleased that it's better than Vista (on first impressions at least)
...an example of one of the reasons why I choose to keep my work and private life separate!
