its a good week for microsofties, what with bing, windows fixes that themselves need fixing and now this old tripe
all that is left is .net version 4 to round off the week
Never buy any products or deal with

The list (seeings as old reg was too lazy to link)
Where is this list of 650-odd products and services?
cant you lazy journos at least link to the list?
With the reputation Italian cars have for electrical problems, i would say It isn't going to happen
Are you taking the piss? or are you just extracting the urine (as a nerd would say)
im sure the end result beats what is in most bottled water these days.
NOT coming to an Ebay store near you...
we are well and truly stuck will paypal
there you go
obviously, upgrading vista to windows 7 will be easy as windows 7 IS vista, more like a service pack than a new OS
Can we expect customer service levels to plummet further (if this is possible) ?
skull and crossbones? probably not the first comparison to pirates....
The reason is all the hard cost-cutting, designed mostly to give AMD a hard time
Virgin cable with open-dns
its intermittent, sometimes a generic page not found in archive, other times slow but ok
strangely, old theregister pages all seem to give a path index error, perhaps they dont like old reg either....

yes, i know its a limitation of 32 bit addressing
maybe mainstream windows needs to go 64bit, and maybe virtualisation for older apps?
We have all heard about the need to recycle...
It feels too soon, too much like a recycled vista. Seems likely i will be using XP for a few more years
Will windows 7 be able to do anything regarding the 3GB ram limit?
it was silly the mainstream vista couldnt use any more ram than xp, usually when i buy a new machine it has loads more ram than my last. My current machine came with 2gb and its near 4 years old.
Is that a spider? I blooming hate those things...
seller has lots of negs and such!
not sure why he is so bothered about just the latest, sounds like a seller i'd prefer to avoid
more reading of the ebay listing shows me that it is indeed the F700 offered in the description, the F700V written on the box in the picture, but not in the description, thought to counteract this he states:
ITEM IS IN GOOD CONDITION
ITEM IS IN ORIGINAL BOX
Usual cobblers about a fault being a feature, who'd have thought Sony people also worked at Microsoft too.
i'm not buying it
Why won't they call it Windows Vista 2.0? or Mojave?
we all know its just the vista codebase with knobs on, mostly just a search and replace name change.
Look out for features such as 3gb memory limit (that limit is a joke now, imagine 5 years time!)
