"There HAVE been instances of bootleg cabinet makers using MAME in them, and the license as it was enabled them to either sue the cabinet maker or at the least keep the lawyers away."
Ironically MAME can emulate the common 60 in 1 games PCBS that can be found on the web which run a custom
build of MAME for XScale architecture with hacked roms.
https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/master/src/mame/drivers/39in1.cpp
The arcade games come from the MAME emulator.
I had a wry smile as the games are considered old as some of the emulation is as well. If you head over and play Astro Fighter by Deco I added that to MAME in November 1997 the night my daughter was born and she's 17 later this month!

Fibre box apeared at the end of my street.....
rang up O2 sorrry SKY I want my MAC code..
"Why, have you not heard of our offers for O2 customers and we do Fibre too"....
5 Mins of sales talk offering full sky package for "free" for 12 months....
"Do you provided fixed IP?"
"No, a lot of O2 customers keep asking about that....."
"MAC code please"......
Now a happy customer on Plusnet, gone from 2.5-3meg to 67Meg and yes I have fixed ip!
My friends on her second Experia Z, first went back as the wifi reception was so weak you had to stand next right next to the router to get any signal.
The second wifi was find on, 1 month later the middle part of the usb connector came out stuck in the chargher lead. CPW answer when asked for repair/replacment, physical damage not under warranty and they wouldnt do a PAID repair on it saying it was beyond economical repair!!
She manghed to get it repaired for £20 but the non authorised repair center she took it too says the warranty will be void now and they cant guarantee it will still be "water proof"
So if your thinking of one avoid like the plague as both problems are well reported on the net!
Not sure what the real issue is here. In our small town I can happly get free Cloud at most of the local pubs. Even out local Greggs has free Cloud and it only big enough for 4 customers at time to que for baked treats!
I'm not one for wanting to stand outside some misfortunate BT customers house in the rain to use their wifi....
I'm on 02 and was never offered free wifi with my contract, then again its that old it also doesnt have a "fair usuage" cap on the unlimted data :->
"....download speeds slower than the 384 kb/s EDGE achieved in its best moments."
Strange as the N95 was 3G and supported HSDPA upto 3.6mbps.,so the orignal iPhone was a slouch in reality to other products.
The N95 was probably the best phone Nokia produced, as all the feaures mentioned it also had hardware accelerated 3D graphics engine through its PowerVR core in the OMAP processor (something the late n96 and n97 lacked).
Also it had a SIP client for VOIP which came into great use on holidays to get free incomning calls .Friends call my uk voip number using there free evening calls plans,I'd be sat on wifi at the hotel......
Also it had an infraRed port to. Greatest use I found for that was to hack my LG flat screen to get up the engineers menu to enable the USB playback function using "irRemote S60)

But it piece de resistance was it made and recived calls with out fail over GSM. We had an office of 4 people, 3 with iPhones and myself with an N95. All on O2 but the guys would regualry get voice mails without the phone ringing when calls always came through to the Nokia........
AVG used to be a good product and I had the paid version running on mine and families pc`s. But these days its turned into slow bloat ware that’s good at false positives and not
good at actually protecting pcs.
Personally I rate AVG as almost bad as Norton for making a standard pc unusable. You'll know when it's reached that status as PC World will start trying to flog it with every new pc......
The problem with developing for Windows 8 phone is the SDK forces you to use Windows 8 Pro if you want to use the device emulator to debug your code. Ask my development team if they want to install Windows 8 on their desktop PC`s/Laptops and wouldn't want to repeat the answer......
havre to slightly disagree with that list
Windows 95 pretty good
Windows 98 buggy unstable mess
Windows 98R2 was Decent
Windows ME sucked
Windows XP good
Windows Vista was the second coming of ME
Windows 7 good
Windows 8 I predict will suck worse than the other failures combined.
