Don't be daft.

If you're going to create a level and plaster it with tits, Mario, Sonic and Luke Skywalker snogging Darth, then don't bitch and moan when it gets pulled.

Perhaps a way around this is a public/private flag for the user define content. Private maps can be accessed by a pre-approved group of friends with no public viewing.

Flame

Fire Sale!!!!

Every man and his dog has been playing up the story of Xbox outselling PS3 for weeks now, and in all that time not one of the Xbox variants has made much of a dent in the top 50 sellers in either amazon(uk) or amazon(US). I check every day cos I find it sadly interesting. It's plain old BS and MS thinks it can spoon it out, because we'll all lap it up with a smile.

I own a PS3, but I wish success for Xbox, Wii and all because with the competition, lies the hope of reduced prices and perhaps I'll pick up and Xbox now (though not just yet. I want to see that the RROD has be sorted first).

Either way with cost reducing as they are, we're all winners... except thos poor suckers that "wanted it now, I SAID NOW".

Thumb Down

This article is 7 years too late!!!

Such a dumb article! I lived in Japan in 2000/2001 and this type of technology was in all the electronic stores then. The very irritating "Glasstron Lite" ad springs to mind (they user would slip them on and the spring off the chair in amazement). Tried it in the shop and the weight of the glasses were uncomfortable on the nose (leaving dents after only a moments use), and the image was not impressive. One for the anti-social kids me-thinks.

I don't believe these figures. No version of the xbox has been much higher that 45 in the amazon.com (us not uk) sales charts for quite a while and the PS3 is making a comfortable top 10 week after week. I realise that amazon is not the last word, but I reckon it's a fairly decent gauge on the situation. I suspect MS are engaged in Sony tactic of reporting units delivered to the retailers and not units sold.
