Emails show journalist rigged Wikipedia's naked shorts

Great piece

OK, so now they are taking Byrne seriously. But you can't really blame el Reg for their initial skepticism as it did sound like a nut-job conspiracy theory at the time.

OpenSolaris still has some Linux copying to do

Looks like the 90s are back

A lot of these comments are exactly like what happened in the 90s with Sun's on-again, off-again support fro Solaris x86. I've tried it and ripped it out and Sun can stick this up their clacker.

Not bad for second class BSD or Linux server and a fifth class desktop. But I'm damned if I'm trying to help Sun anymore on my time after my previous experiences.

Next year critical for Sun's 'Project Copy Linux'

Solaris x86 anyone?

As a junior sys admin in the 90s I'm never touching anything from Sun that's tagged as free or open again and will be sticking to BSD and Linux. Solaris is a good OS but when Sun starts to expand into the open source world it's only a strip tease that stops at the first button.

Yes, still bitter after all these year.
