@Zornhau, if 5000 years from now, someone can have a chuckle concerning my demise, I encourage it. If someone is even vaguely aware I existed 5000 years from now, I will be happy.
And I loved the Bond pic, that's pretty damned funny.
Paris because she, like our departed friend, has been penetrated multiple times.
Things could have been different
"I turn away a few EDRs due to inadequate ID"
Had Obama lost, you would have been accused of partisanship and disenfranchising voters. That is their modus operandi.

Not mutually exclusive
First, I'm not religious, and I very much believe in evolution, but...
There is no reason that the existence of God and evolution are mutually exclusive.
The argument can be made that God went through a lot of trouble to make an incredibly complex and beautiful universe. He created a lot of rules for how things should work in this universe.
A true believer should not underestimate the power of the creator and feel he should need to "cheat" and break the very laws that he set. If God is all powerful, he is fully capable of setting evolution into motion to achieve the results he wanted.
It's education, not IQ
Education is a primary influence on religious beliefs, not IQ. Most people in academia have more EDUCATION than the general populace, it is questionable that in general they have higher IQs.
The statement about how "intelligence has risen in the 20th century" seems to reinforce my point. Makes me question the researcher's abilities. Do they really think IQ has increased in the 20th century? Do they attribute this to better nutrition or to evolution?
