You don't need your phone or an internet connection to use Apple pay on the watch so it seems that the great Woz hasn't a clue what he's talking about !

What utter rubbish. You only need the account details to operate it remotely otherwise you can fully operate the thermostat manually as per every other time clock/thermostat available.

Early Adopters

How come early adopters are complaining.

If you buy any phone on contract, you don't get to terminate the contract early when a new model comes out but because Apple announce a new phone, people criticise them and O2 and think they should be able to upgrade with no penalty.
