incentives, No way

Debt laden companies do not need incentives.

They primarily do as they are told.

Apple dodged all UK corporation tax in 2012

The Apple Taliban...

Now when the suckers keep buying no matter what!

Alan Denman

Obviously they are non taxed by design in Californicaton

Whilst they consider us all a bit green, those still not blind sight might just see red.

Adobe marketing cloud now to rain spam following Neolane slurp

Alan Denman

with the blessing of Apple and Microsoft ?

...well they do appear to have some sort of pact.

Google developing game console, smartwatch, new Q?

Alan Denman

Another dumb smartwatch?

Yes, it seems to me they are all dumb.

When a call is received, lifting your wrist to your ear falls on silence.

Only idiot devices exist. They all need to get bluetooth speakering.

ASA bans Samsung's 'misleading' free Galaxy Tab 2 ad

Alan Denman

How can they can the could?

They I could understand the 'could' bit.

Can and could, there is a difference.

I guess all those competitions where you 'could' win a free holiday banned too.

Stock dips as fanbois complain of dodgy Wi-Fi on MacBook Air

Alan Denman

The ecosystem at works again.

Obviously it just works on a bona fide Apple router near you.

I'm obviously being ecosystem with the truth.

Galaxy S4 way faster than iPhone 5: Which?

Alan Denman

Surprised at Which ?

"I am surprised at Which doing something as irrelevant as benchmarking when their target audience is non-technical consumers."

Their target is customers seeking the 'digested truth' devoid of marketing stuff. Stuff that often seems a compulsory obligation when coming from our own mouths.

Alan Denman

US corporate alliances

"Here in the States on AT&T the 16GB iPhone 5 and Galaxy S4 are priced identically ($200), while the 32GB iPhone 5 is $50 more expensive ($300 vs $250) than the 32GB Galaxy S4."

LOL man, how can reprint marketing rubbish. That price is something like 24*$70+$200 = $1880.

That how it is in the UK. We talk real prices. And even the iPhone has to compete on prices here now(often only one third of the above), unlike the US with the monopoly like corporate alliance

Alan Denman

just a blip on the radar........

yes, like that last report this iPhone story will be handled with lightweight reception.

No need to retune your sets folks. The wooly service will be resumed very soon.

Apple said to dump Samsung as chip-baking partner – again

Alan Denman

all Samsungs fault ....

.........that we have to reuse the old chipset, keep the low DPI screen and make loads of mega bucks from the cheapest made high end phone on the market.

Naught boy Samsung, stop giving us a crap iPhone.

Apple's Tim Cook: I'm risking my own MEELLLIONS if we sink

Alan Denman

Just a drop in the ocean

And obviously an off-shore ocean.

I'd really love to lose a few of my millions.

Can Jonny Ive's new 'iOS Vista' SAVE the BBC's £100m BRAIN? Yes!

Alan Denman

IOS Vista - well skin me alive

What rubbish.

The main IOS 7 change is simply a skin.

With Vista we got a whole kitchen sink full of bloat in very much the same skin.

AS most of us know with Android, you can choose and change a skin in seconds, as IOS will do/ impose.

Skins are no big deal, it is what underneath that really matters.

Apple: If you find us guilty in ebook price-fix trial, EVERYONE suffers

Alan Denman

We pretty much know what Apple wants and how they work .............

.. so can you be guilty for the actions of others doing what they think you want?

Its a fascinating subject normally confined to history and politics.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Proof the pen is mightier?

Alan Denman

re This is where Apple is weak.

It is not that you want something, it is that it is allowed and always there at the ready.

The fact that sycophantic sheep shearers are telling us choice is the new bad says it all.

Alan Denman

PPI flawed as ever but hey it was all Appley

Yes near useless.

8" and 1280 x 800 tells you the whole story.

It is quite weird the need to do what everyone else does even when its is so so dumb ass.

Alan Denman

Re: PPI - so what?

Just try on a pair of rose tinited retina sunglasses.

Then you will understand.

Alan Denman

Wanring, use of the word GPS is not offically sanctioned. - this article is without broad approved

as you know, most of the media has refused to offically recognise that Android tablets have GPS.

It even seems mathematics are unsanctioned as of yet so they will probably still tell us 1280X800 equates to 16:9.

Well done guys for mentioning the GPS and 16:10.

Maybe best keep your heads down a while

NSA PRISM snoop-gate: Won't someone think of the children, wails Apple

Alan Denman

re "If you look at the slide it seems that Jobs told them where to go" .......

yes, we know all about their direct words.

........to the 3rd door on the left?

Alan Denman

Business as usual Apple.

Why let the iNSAmessage get in the way when you can add a spot of forgetful marketing into the iNSAmessage.

Jobs and now the new team are certainly decsended from Nostradamus.

Nothing direct as ever from Apple.

Swedish watchdog: Google's chocolate cloud? Nej, not private

Alan Denman

Risk assessment.

Obviously we all do our own risk assessment on freeware compared to paid services.

Things get a bit harder when authorities have to decide what s what for their students.

Microsoft Office 365 on iPhone NOW: No, we're not making this up

Alan Denman

Strategic alliance

It was always quite obvious the way things are heading.

Three's a crowd and it ain't going to get any prettier from these older two.

We want to put a KILL SWITCH into your PHONE, say Feds

Alan Denman

Back door already there no doubt. Get the iMessage?

Obviously they already control it so they want to extend that to Android.

We know why IOS location tracking is stil there and only ahd partial removal.

Is that important when many Android phones are sold without the marketing markup?

IMEI blocking should be enforced round the world via a stolen register !

We dont need big brother for that!

MPs demand UK rates revamp after Google's 'extraordinary tax mismatch'

Alan Denman

And this new perception simply does not hold up in court

You ain't marketing to sheep here guys.

This likely perceptional bullshit is for selling, not the law courts.

Alan Denman

Exactly the same elsewhere !

So with Apple paying no tax in Briatin and Eire I'd suggest th politicans get real and stop petty charade doomed to fail.

It is getting quite scary when they move point scoring away from the false inter party banter !

It is your laws guys, you are the ones to blame.

MacBook Air now uses PCIe flash... but who'd Apple buy it from?

Alan Denman

FFS guys.

This is Sata Express edition 8Gbit/s.

There is also Sata Express 16Gbit/s.

Yes it is called SATA because that is the protocol.

Alan Denman

Just PCEI Sata. Cheap and proprietary?

It is simply Sata over PCIE but still the old version(2GB sec is possible).

Nothing fancy but knowing Apple maybe has a propreitary adjustment.

It has been around for a good few years now, but like lots of stuff gets bullshit reinvented for Apple.

Crusading lawmen want more details on Apple's iOS 7 'Activation Lock'

Alan Denman

re - Can't we just ask the NSA to tell us where our phones are ?

just ask at the nearest router.

a simple web query hack and Apple will feed back to you the last 400 users.

Nah, they ain't tracking.

Alan Denman

A useful feature with fee creep !

Obviously like the £40 unlock and all those fanciful £40 cables etc fee creep will mean misplaced phones will eventually get to have a £40+ enable fee.

Tech giants' offshore cash-stashing is only ever a delaying tactic

Even Kaspersky cant find it cause Kaspersky are banned.

How sneaky is that?

Intel unzips new Atom phone chip: Low power, fast - is that right, ARM?

Alan Denman

Re: What a bunch of drivvel

....but Atom was crap by intended design.

The new long term plan will surely be for them to make Atom dominant in 'mobile'.

Pro Windows will be non Atom keeping everyone happy. Consumers may just have to play along.

Microsft and Intel both want the high margins. That matters.

It's a fiddle! Funnyman's Irish tax flashmob floods Apple flagship store

Alan Denman

100 times worse than Starbucks?

I recall that Starbucks boycott yet this sounds 100 times worse.

Its a funny old world aint it.

'Nothing will convince a kid that's never worn glasses to wear them'

Alan Denman

Cheap one to watch, expensive to buy.

Obviously, they want the suckers in droves buying their $10 made watch.

Apple in Big Apple dock: iPhone goliath starts ebook price-fix trial

Alan Denman

head up its own arse.

I'd suggest Apple were unable to cut a deal where it pays a little but gets absolved from any blame.

So Apple is forced back into its own corner yet again?

Apple reveals bare bones iPod touch

Alan Denman

Bare but for the screen

weird, that it still uses the ancient bigger A5.

That A6 is smaller, more power efficient and faster, but obviously costs more than the $10 A5.

Apart from the screen, barebones is the word.

Just maybe they are morphing it next year into a game machine.

EFF files objections with W3C decrying addition of DRM to HTML5

Alan Denman

Stop killing the web.

This sort of action simply makes the web a conduit to apps.

The pirates are making proprietary suckers of us all.

Alan Denman

EFF sponsorship

Who sponsors them, Apple?

Dickheads.

David Cameron asks UK biz to pay their low, low taxes

Right said Fred.

Apple chief Cook: You - senators. Get in here and redo this tax law

Alan Denman

Repatriating UK spend to the USA ain't repatriation.

Seems slightly different this one.

It seems they want the foreign money back in the states with no penalties.

As said tax in the country of spend is not happening properly,

Senators: You - Cook. Apple guy. Get in here and bring your tax books

Yup, the old lady modernised for the net probably pays more corporation tax than Apple does in the UK/.
