Re: @AC - 2107967
I work in IT, just about every company has this level of support in business. None of it much different in price from Apple and most just as helpful.
not haters, just grown beyond dependance of that shitty brand.
Skeletor would have been proud of your blind obedience.
Gone in a month
We just took over a small company with 50 mac's that we turned into scrap within 4 weeks. No good to man nor beast.
I did say - "even when healthy"
What did it do - wheeze?
Never seen such an inactive person in my life. Even when healthy he made skeletons look fit.
Happy to take a photograph any day of the week. The staff are easily identified as they are in the majority.
Even on a Saturday it's not "busy".
The Salisbury reseller has more staff than costumers. Pass it every day watching them busy doing nothing.
Stealing Samsung's ideas
I need the opposite "primer". Want to move my iTunes library back to my PC.
Got rid of my Mini (crap machines) and will be getting rid of my MBP in the coming months. Tried Apple and happily moved back.
I have a developer friend who made the mistake of getting an iPhone. Once he realised the massive limitations inflicted by Apple he hated the phone - until he he jailbroke it and was allowed to set it up how he wanted (and not just pages of icons).
I agree iPhones for the iDiots.
Will wait for the jailbreak.
ViewSonic it is then.
You wouldn't if you had a Mac
Nope, nothing on a Mac can stop real hackers getting through!
My problem with Mac's is the repair cost outside of warranty, may as well just throw it away.
My MBP has a dodgy "superdrive", Apple wanted over £250 to repair it. The drive (which they won't sell separate) can be purchased for around £50.
Won't get fooled again.
Ads? We don't need no stinking Ads!
Thankfully, I just add an HOSTS file to my current Android build and ALL the add disappear!!

Another OS X surge
Skeletor will not be happy!
Even better! we sold it. Somebody was mug enough.
..just hangs on a 3GS running iOS 4
Still idiots interested in buying 3G's
My partner upgraded her 3G to 4.01 - it was CRAP. Managed to sell it on eBay for £190.
insulting or ignorant?
I'll go with both.
This is surely an anti-fanbois wet dream...
no - just a massive design flaw
3g with IOS4 sux
So slow it is unusable. Reverting back to 3.x
Just updated a 3G. Those amazing "folders" are so limited they are hardly worth including. Usual half arsed update.
iPhones are now as capable as Android 2.1?
No, they are not.
If you are mental enough to pay for Mobileme then it can easily be picked up for £40 on ebay - but still, the question is why would you bother at those over inflated prices.
I did use it for a year but there are better alternatives for free and I didn't see the need to keep funding Steve's stylish outfit's.
Can be hard to beat the old model
The old model overheated and was poorly designed to stop people upgrading themselves. The internal power supply is still a massive mistake.
Is that why Apple are being investigated by the ITC for copying HTC? iPhone's are yesterdays jam.
Android Solution - AdFree
Runs on any rooted Android phone and is easily updated.
@Subban - on what grounds?
You are right - no-one gives a toss about Apple.
Apple, stealing ideas?!! You sure!!??
Skeletor owns everything so it's not stealing.

some level of security for the Mac.
The age of steel dawns
"We have several more extraordinary products in the pipeline for this year," Mr Jobs added, who also owns Cybus Industries.
EarPods, used extensively in the place of MP3 players and mobile phones, allowing information to be directly downloaded into people's heads.
An upgrade to humanity and the ultimate move into cyberspace, allowing the brain to survive in an ageless steel body? Delete all those deemed incompatible with the upgrade.
I bet there'll be a $200 addon coming soon!
best geek phone? yes
Interest in the iDon't is stumbling and it is not a geek phone - it is only a fashion accessory.
The great thing about Android - no Apple thought police!!! No lock in to iTunes and a simple setting to be able to install what you want from wherever you want.
Get fed up with the look & feel of the OS then it is simple to root & replace with a different developers ROM, not just stuck with the same tired interface with lots of pages of icons and iAd's to make things worse.
I'll buy a pad one day - but it will have Android on and, like the phones, will be dominating Apple in a very short space of time.
Would never waste my money on another Apple product.
Just get a decent phone in the first place.
I also got suckered by the Apple BS.
Happily back on W7 now but keep my MacBook Pro as it is the best Windows gaming laptop I have seen.
Even more people would pay for apps if Google would allow them to???
There are more ways to install apps than just the market place. You can install whatever you want from whatever source. This is not Apple crap!!!
Try SlideME, GetJar or Handago.
I own and use Apple kit but the production is now so poor and the lock-in so restrictive that I no longer give a toss about them.
Just started using the built in Android/Google Maps navigation. Works flawless without extra hardware (only a standard window mount) or expensive software.
But M$ don't make such a song and dance about it "just working" - or not in this case.
A known bug since 2007 - that is fucking epic!!!
why would you bother...
writing a virus for an OS with less than 5% market share?
That screen will last minutes and Apple will do their usual disclaimer.
Still have not thought of a single reason for buying one.
no one cares
AVG update gags iTunes
What's the problem?
..don't update - even better, uninstall the bloated crap.
