Abusive cowards - you must feel very proud of yourselves.
Not cool - I wasn't aware of any of this until I came home from an early shift to find an answering machine message from a very scared friend of the family. She is 74 and looking after her grandchildren, both under 10, and has had two threatening phone calls.
Now, I am not a member, I do not agree with all their views, but the BNP are a legitimate legal party.
All the people talking about "getting revenge" or (one one forum) "dusting off the knuckle dusters" should be ashamed. We fought a war to try and rid the world of fascists like you - and you have the cheek to pose as left wing. You're a rent-a-mob rabble whose toughness extends right up until phoning octogenarians and threatening them. I expect you must feel very proud.
Incidentally, the list was posted to generate money from google adwords.
This violates adwords policy - click the link on the ad and post the following violation:
The adverts are appearing on a website which has posted a stolen list of the names and childrens' addresses of supporters of a political party. This therefore violates at least 2 of your rules:
* Violent content, racial intolerance, or advocacy against any individual, group, or organization
* Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes on the legal rights of others

A real shame
Yes, it may have been legally questionable, but it was just so much better than iplayer etc. And how much did iplayer cost to develop?
There was a gap in the market and they filled it very well. I hope it comes back soon!
Thanks for the article - some clarification though!
Hello, I made the video. Thanks for the link - should probably clarify one major point in your article.
0870 numbers were NEVER "local" rate, they were originally given the misnomer of "national rate", based on a BT tariff from when calls were expensive of 8p/min. There's no such thing as a "national" call now, and no-ones paid that to call a number in years, so thankfully the whole 0870 business is being changed by ofcom (another reader has the link).
Amazed you managed to get a response from them - I felt a complete "we don't give a ****" attitude, from not bothering to tell me the phone was ready, to having a "repair status" line that didn't work, to having phones not connected (in the shops of a communications company, FFS!).
And don't believe the "as soon as it was brought to our attention" BS either - I told them the line wasn't working a month ago!
Anyway, it's great you've picked the video up - and from some of the responses I've had, it looks like the Reading branch isn't the only one with a number that never gets answered.
Once again, thanks El Reg!
