Having got fed up with Facebook trying to tell world+dog what mindless games I'd like to play for a few minutes I've found most of them available elsewhere.
Frequently they play better away from being wrapped inside a Facebook that wants me to drop the https log on and revert to http just to idle a way a wee while.

If windows is your house then do you regularly chek to ensure the doors not only have locks that work but also close, latch and keep the draught out.
Do you make sure the gate to the garden is secure or just leave it open?
Do you leave your bins outside the house or have a note asking the dustment to come in and get it themselves?
Do you invite people selling switch-over deals indoors without at least checking thier ID?
Don't blame the house - it's usually the occupant that screws up.

The market never responded like it was supposed to, the loads archetypal 'small companies' got swallowed up for the subscribers and the profits - not the infrastucture, 'shareholders' grabbing what they could and buggering off. You know, standard business practice that you value so highly but now are moaning about.

I seem to remember back in distant times when all the cable problems were about to be solved as world+dog were to install fibre everywhere. Railtrack, Gas board, Leccy company (or whatever they were caled that particular week) all wetting themselves at the thought of being major natoinal data carriers.
What happend there?
Well, put your own blody cables in - you were happy to use LLU but so damned quiet about the lack of your own infrastucture. Happy to ride on the back of what we paid for and what BT put in after privatisation. Happy to take over Tiscali and do absolutley fuck all about the lack of customer service. Why not slag of Virgin for not doing LLU on thier kit?
