Self-appointed Homophobic Dictator for life
moans about not being allowed a platform to sprout his sky god fantasies on.
Listen mate, when people talk to their imaginary friends, it's not a good look.
Or given Apples modest security success with safari...
It's an easy way to root a system and gain access via a browser exploit.
Not a must install?
What about all the security fixes then?
php in shit *shock*
Who'd have thunk it?
Yes, because i really want a whole lot of third party apps
That don't sit under the package management system, thereby being a total pain to manage and keep up to date.
There is a good reason people have left windows behind- it's impossible to keep up todate.
Yes, because this approach to shotguns has prevented
all bank robberies. Oh. Hang on.
Except...
That using a VPN to use the interwebs is a sound piece of advice if using a untrusted connection- i.e WLAN's at airports, etc etc.
Short Memories. Windows 7 = Mohave Experiment.

Is it just me... or is tagging your website
'Please protect me from XSS' not taramount to saying 'I've not really bothered protecting against XSS myself'. Sounds like a good target to google for, really.
Not to mention, it sounds like you're going to be trusting the client for XSS protection.
Stupid, Stupid advice.
If there is any doubt at all, a BT employee will be able to give the customer their employee ID number and an 0800 number to call.
For Fucks sake, BT, if they've given you the number to call, it is WORTHLESS.
I notice there is no section:
Keeping your OS and installed apps up to date
WIndows: Extremely difficult / Very Expensive
Linux: Easy.
But like, consumers don't want to be secure, do they.
The US barely knows Motor racing exists.
There are more viewers in Italy who watch F1 on tv, then there are viewers in the USA watching NASCAR.
Not per head of population- TOTAL HEADCOUNT!
Quite why you'd bother with an F1 team is beyond me.
"Looking up the default gateway isn't too difficult"
Please explain to me how that could be determined by a web browser when utilising CSRF?
This would depend on them being able to guess your router's internal interface IP.
If you're not using 192.168.0.1 / or other common defaults, you're less at risk.
I would hope...
they can't attach USB keys, much less execute programs on them....
Surely the point is that Google OS will support ARM
This could be the killer here- with ARM support, this could get these netbooks into the market place, and seriously hurt Microsoft, if they can deliver on battery life /performance.
It's actually pretty easy to 'patch' around this issue
Microsoft even produce a msi to do it for you so you don't need to self-edit the registry.
Not really sure why they don't advertise this ?

Wow!
Now only need to breakout the screwdriver kit once during a trans-pacific flight if you're unlucky enough to be stuck in a seat/class where the power is missing/not functional!
What an innovation!
Cunts.
ftp on the go.....
Wait, you are using source control, right?
Dear god.
Why the fuck is there admin page https://admin.twitter.com/admin accessable over the public internet???
Are they just stupid?
Oh that took me right back. Well done.

Full Disk Encyption doesn't protect against
a powered on, logged in laptop being stolen.
You've got to be joking.
Why would anyone buy a smartphone off those Cisco wankers?
We're talking about people who's solution to refusing to release a x64 IPsec client for Windows is to suggest an 'upgrade' to their ssl vpn.
I'd rather buy a product off Microsoft, than these immoral twats.
What a lot of moaning.
It's open source. If you want it maintained, you have the code base. Go forth and do it.
To be clear, they're not actively killing it on these platforms, but no longer testing it on these platforms.
What is someone installs a php torrent client...
And then uses said client to download. Aren't they accessing the interwebs then?
The best way to defeat these laws
is a pre-paid Visa pressie card, ( http://www.nzpost.co.nz/Cultures/en-NZ/ProductsAndServices/P/PrezzyCard/AboutPrezzyCard.htm ) and an off-shore VPS at linode and/or Slicehost.
Paris, because she knows all about keeping it private.
So you just call an 0800 phone dial service
and not place any actual calls through the mobile?
Just try using a walking frame in zero-gravity.
Paris, because she cares about density of boning.
A product looking for a market.
It's not actually bad, but purely as a search tool for Outlook, because Outlook search indexing is rubbish and randomly doesn't work.
I really don't care at all about the linkedin rubbish, and if i had to pay for it i wouldn't.
Still nto convinced that bluray will win out of DVD
in so much that digital delivery will supplant DVD, not another physical media type.
USB Endpoints connect to a Desktop VM?
Hmm... what could go wrong there?
Don't drop the matter.
Chargeback to paypal for an unauthorised transaction.
Paris, becuase she also lets things drop.
Faq.htm references SP2 on the iso.
Very well tested by those redmond jerks then. I just downloaded the iso and the faq.htm linked in by the installer says:

How long will it take to install Service Pack 2?
How will the security of my computer be enhanced?
Where can I get more information about Service Pack 2?

From a program that when you click on the link hot it works: http://www.scanalert.com/site/en/certification/howitworks/ consists of a document advising the best place to place the hacker safe image on your site for marketing benefits, rather than a synopsis of how it ensure your site is safe.....
FFS.
