some title or other
@mark65 'age=23, iq=45. Love it.'
title ... hmmm, can't remember what it was going to be.
' .... before forgetting what they were doing and walking over to the fridge for some cold pizza'
I am appalled at just how pervasive surveillance cameras are becoming. In future please keep out of my kitchen!
Didn't find Vista toooo bad
I did have Vista for a while, and for what I used it for it was ok (clunky in places but generally ok). My wife who got a new machine with the rip-off that was Vista Ultimate installed, hated it with a passion for many justifiable reasons.
I have since thrown W7 on both machine, and we both find it a lot more comfortable to use.
I regularly try out the likes of Ubunto just to keep an eye on what is happening, but I inevitably end up discarding it due to ugly displays (the font rendering seems to be dreadful) and the fact it cannot run some of the programs (Première pro) and all important games that I use. However, if I ran a business where all that was needed was the normal office suites, then the lot of them would be running Linux and openoffice unless there was a spectacularly good financial or technical justification for them not to.
The EV-N is very reminiscent of the original Honda "butty-box" from many years ago. It looks pretty good in a "ZX-81" kind of way. :)
Dodgy? Surely not.
" ...which included dodgy copies of Office and Windows Vista and XP ..."
I would have thought anything holding a copy of Vista could be described as dodgy irrespective of the source.
My wife has Vista installed on her new Dell machine, and she hates it with a passion normally reserved only for people who abuse cats. (Yes, I know, it is sad).
As I don't have to use Vista, I think that it looks quite pretty. However, I must admit I cannot see any advantage in zapping my XP installation and replacing it with Vista.
My wife's experience with Vista has only served to consolidate that opinion.
It has however made me decide to buy one of those silly netbook thingies that "do" web, words, and spreadsheets with a Linux opsys. If I am going to let something alienate me, it might as well be a cheap alienation! :))
.. The official re-launch! :))
" ..and whenever a toilet seat is raised"
I nearly fell of my porcelain throne when I read that.
Maybe the extra weight of the tuning gizmos ...
.. will finally stop the the headstock making a dive for the floor everytime you let go of it. Nice sounding guitars, but dreadful physical balance.
Not at all accurate ...
I have tested it against my watch, and it seems to be gaining time ...
