OK putting this information on there is not the best but if I found something like the dossier that was left on the tube. First stop is a internet cafe with 20£-40£ for photocopying and scanning, then upload to Wikileaks, and finally an envelope so it can be mailed back to some gov't office.

If this process is carried out it would not take long for the gov't to get thier ass in gear and stop this practice of hiring complete idiots.

Hope the money over here is cleaner than in the US and Canada. I know I have used bills to pay for things after having partaken in some herbs. And I am just one person. Now I use that money to pay for service at say a petro station. The worker then goes to a pub and is denied access as he touched money I gave him.

Oh, my naysayers, not enough residue on my money to cause this. I won't be the only person going to that station who uses. Over time it will happen.

Purpose of education

Also in regards to creationism how can anyone state whether this is possible or not. The universe was created in 7 days. I don't think anyone out there is God so how do you know how long it took. Time is relative and something which we have designed. If you are an omnipotent, omnipresent being would you judge the passage of time by 24 hour clock. I we lived on a different planet in this solar system alone we would not use a 24 hour clock as it would not work for the rotation of the planet. We also would not use a 365 days for a year as it takes either longer or shorter for the planet to circumnavigate the sun.

I have Windows Mobile on my phone for the sole reason that I will not get a iPhone as Windows in not even that restrictive. And Symbian is a pain in the ass to get things working like GPS.

As soon as a reasonable Linux phone hits the market I will switch and not look back. If the phone and software has bugs so be it. All software has bugs, it is whether they take away from all the advantages.

Common Sense

I moved to this country in 2004 and have been unemployeed for a total of 5 working days, that was when I first moved here.

During that time I have seen house prices double and triple in certian areas based on the idea that people were getting between 4-10 times thier annual salary.

If you wanted something and did not have the money then get a credit card and put it on that. Then when the interest free period ran out change to a different card.

It is these policies that have caused this issue. It is not just the gov't or banks to blame but everyone for wanting it all now without having to wait a little while so you can afford it.

Buy a house and you can make a load of money by doing a little work and selling for an inflated price. Thing is there is a limited amount of credit and it will dry up but noone beleive me when I stated that.

I stated 3 years ago that the housing market would crash and had people at my last job laugh at me. They kept saying that the immigrants will need houses and that is why the market is growing so quickly. Wrong the market was growing so quickly because they were giving mortgages to people who should not have gotten them.

And he is just stating that we look like we may be heading for a recession, a depression is a lot more like it. Only difference between this and the 90s' is that this is global and not down to one or two countries.

I agree with him on one point

Databases are not scarey, nor is the informaiton stored in a database.

The scarey point is what is done with the information and who has access to it.

I could take all the information for all people living in the UK and put it in a database and lock it away in a cellar. No one would have any issue with this as there is no way it would be used against you.

I belive (this is my opinion for those dumb people) that the issue is who is going to have access and what the information is used for. He is one of those people who would honestly believe that he gov't would never do anything to harm it's citizens.

What is the problem??

You take out a mobile and sign a contract stating that you are going to pay this much on this date every month. If you want to do Direct Debit then fine, if not fine. I do not think that you should be charged extra for either, or given a discount if you choose one over the other. It should be the same price. But if you wish to pay late then why should they not charge you fees for it. By paying late it is your problem not thiers, they are in the business to make money not to dance around hoping someone pays a bill.

If you are suppose to get paid on the last day of every month, would you not expect the money by the last day. Would you not be upset if you are paid a couple of days late. Just becuase they are bigger does not mean they do not need the money as they do have a lot bigger bills to pay.

Freeway???

Won't be able to go on the freeway as they do not have airbags. Sorry but if they can only do a top speed of 25MPH then they should not be used on any major roads at all, as they are only going to impeed traffic and cause more congestion.

One-way modems

I use to work as tech support in the US and one of the locations had users with one-way modem. If you wanted always on you would need an extra phone line. But for this you got downloads over satelitte and uploads over phone lines. This would mean some customers getting connection speeds at rediculous levels compared to other Cable and ADSL packages at 3 and 4 times the cost.

Could be nice, but...

if this new design is so light weight what will it be like if you do a lot of motorway miles. I drive about 50-60 miles each day to and from work. I would not want to be on the motorway in a car that will feel everybit of wind. That would end up causing issues especially in the winter when it is really windy on parts of the M4.

I have an issue with road pricing on the basis that the main reason our twats in gov't want it is to watch our every move just in case. Unless something drastic has happened lately banks rely on computers for pretty well everything including when to use the bathroom. Computers and magnets do not go well together.

Loads of IT

If that is the case then I hate to see what they would call a shortage. Every week I get at least one offer from a company to work for them on either a consultant basis or full time. Been in this country for almost 5 years was out of work for the first 5 days after which I had to look for work or go crazy.

Usually in a recession or downturn in the economy IT are the first to go but I get just as many requests now as ever.
