Pentagon hacker McKinnon earns extradition delay

The real reason for the US over-reaction?

McKinnon did actually expose something both highly significant and embarrassing to the US (excluding its comical security and bad attitude); the list of 'non-terrestrial' military personnel. WTF are they?

Evidence of aliens, nope. But it's a fair bet that the US military is steaming ahead full speed with their weaponisation of space - something they've wanted for years despite it being utterly illegal under international and US law. Full-spectrum dominance and all that.

Don't forget the Pentagon says it 'cannot account for' over $2 trillion (!) - enough to buy about 40 International Space Stations, 20 manned missions to Mars or a dozen moon bases. (Yes, I just Googled the numbers... :) )

'Non-terrestrial' military officers, indeed.

- Paris, cos she's not on Planet Earth either.

Idiot!

Bio-fuels do NOT produce any net amounts of greenhouse gas. That's the whole sodding point!

Every last bit of CO2 they release when burned has previously been taken from the atmosphere by the plant growing in the first place.

That's how plants work. Look it up.

Paris - cos she's f*cking thick as well.

Cardiff 'copter coppers give chase to UFO

And I thought Reg readers were so sophisticated...

Far too many people venting juvenile opinions about a subject they have never researched and (surprise, surprise) therefore know sod all about.

There are over 4000 radar-confirmed, pilot-reported UFO sightings - and that's just the ones in the public domain. That's 'real' UFOs, as in the type that remain unidentified because they defy all conventional explanations - not f*cking chinese lanterns.

(PS. 'Insurmountable interstellar distances' is a totally ignorant argument. Our solar system is <5 billion years old, the Milky Way is 10 billion years old. Metaphorically, ET could have walked here - and probably has.)

Wiki has killed nothing - see for yourself

After an hour, I'm halfway through the www.deepcapture.com page. I've followed most of the reference and source links too.

Holy sh*t!

This is so serious, I'm changing my vote because of it

Been Labour since old enough to vote (20 years ago). Sometimes voted Liberal just to keep the Tories out, but this time I'm forced to vote for the hated enemy.

The very idea of compulsory ID cards in Great Britain is utterly disgusting; an insult to every soldier who has ever fought - or died - to keep this country free.

"Your papers are not in order..."

F*ck you, Labour. You broke my heart.

Brown opts for morality over science on 'lethal skunk'

"The penalty that good men pay for not being interested in politics..."

"...is to be governed by men worse than themselves." - Plato

If Gordon Brown is prepared to utterly disregard the findings of independent committees of experts and rely instead on his own breathtaking ignorance when formulating English Law (!), then he is unfit for office.

Cannabis is actually so NON-toxic, it has no known lethal dose. This has been shown in numerous studies and court cases, for those who care to look:

http://www.fcda.org/judge.young.htm

And as for the new, terrifying 'skunk'... it's nothing but the modern street name for good-quality herbal cannabis of many varieties (ie. not chunks of indeterminable brown gak or grey twigs).

Of course, the independent advisory committee knows all of this already - which is why its well-considered recommendation is to leave it as Class C. Gordon asked the experts, the experts gave an answer.

But Gordon thinks the experts are all wrong (they're not), that he knows best (he doesn't), so he will ignore them. Just the attitude you want in a Prime Minister.

Job done, Mr Brownshirt. For the first time in my adult life, I will not be voting Labour in a General Election.

Billy Bragg: Why should songwriters starve so others get rich?

Wandering minstrels were not traditionally millionaires

...and soon they never will be again. Ever thought how illogical it is that someone who cures killer diseases makes less money than a pop 'star'?

Songwriters have no divine right to be millionaires. They write songs, ffs. Big deal.

Happy

Far too busy to read six pages, but I did, right to the end...

... and then also found the time to login and complain about how long it was. And boring. And irrelevant. And not proven. And how it didn't touch any raw nerves here, no sir, because we are - ahem, I mean I AM - just a neutral observer.

And a very logical one, I'm sure you'll agree.

(BRILLIANT article. Absolute Wiki corrupts, absolutely.)
