O2 shop in peterborough were doing the paperwork and leave with it unactivated thing, i was only 4th in line so it didn't take long (although that little midget git off harry potter turned up when there was about 20 odd people in the queue and was let in before the shop even opened - and they let him buy 2!!!!)

Something about their network did crash as it was only about 5 minutes after the first lot of us had entered the shop before everyone was like o noes the gateway is down! queue lots of huffing and puffing and use of the word 'contingency' like it made them clever

Though I had to say they were all very pleasant, they brought us all orange juice, coffee and a bacon roll thing as we queued

Yes it's only an upgrade, but it you don't get one now you'll be waiting god knows how long, so I'm quite happy to get up an hour or so early to pick up a shiny new phone on my way to work, albeit one virtually identical to one i already have, plus the sooner I can sell my old one the better,

hurrah I have a shiny new boxed sealed iPhone 3g in my pocket, now I just have to spend a da at work before I can go home and activate the thing, o2s network, quite predictably, crashed within minutes of opening, they were doing everything on paper

Pro is used everywhere in equally ridiculous places, especially hardware, IE, I had a radeon 9800 pro, a 'professional' pc graphics card, they certainly exist, but the 9800 wasnt one, obviously, it was primarily for gaming

how is android easier to program for when it isn't even finished yet? I'll be sticking with my iphone, nokias UI has been naff for years, i doubt this'll change anything

Yeah I take your point,, I just assumed that the GUI is part and parcel with s60,, I've only seen it on various nokias, always looking the same, I certainly would have expected nokia to have put a bit more effort into refining it (or preferably a complete overhaul or a few)

loading....

I've had a problem with it staying on the loading screen (where it just says the mission name in the corner) it doesn't lock up exactly but it just looks like its loading .. .. forever, I assume this isn't the problem everyones moaning about as simply disconnecting from PSN or unplugging the ethernet cable fixes it

are a con, I have free email and data with my phone, why should I then have a limit or further charges for sending poxy little 160 char message? I can send emails of unlimited size with pictures attached for nothing?! how does sms cost them more to provide? its simply a rip off they know they can get away with over and over and over again because 10p seems like a fairly small amount to pay for a convenience

Win2k was my favourite, it never mucked about like the others have, xp was alright but vista is just horrible I don't know why i ever bothered installing it, You do a dual boot with xp and all you end up with is an awful awful mess of access rights, great, so straight after a clean install I don't have priviledges to write a file to my own desktop?!? or to change ID3 tags of files in my music folder?!?!? when I only have a single, admin account ?! what a f**king state

higher bitrate would have been nice, I too paid for in rainbows, I think about 5 or 6 quid! I've only listened to it a few times, its no OK Computer is it? (Yes I know at least they're not sticking to the same formula but unfortunately their direction leaves me increasingly cold) I bought Ghosts too, which I was much more impressed with (higher quality, well produced, different pics embedded in the files, I thought was a nice touch, made the whole thing feel more cohesive, , £2.50!) unfortunately though the first few tracks were very promising, toward the end it starts to sound like they've been stuck in that studio for a bit too long and just want to get it over with, so they've just stuck any old loops with some distorted old arpeggiated synth through a vocoder

I hate this frickin things, i have no problem with them if they are actually legible to a human being, but I recently went to post a comment on some site, I tried, unsuccessfully, about 30 times to get their stupid stupid stupid captchas right in order to post my single comment and eventually I gave up, it wasn't even that difficult to read, I don't see what other meaning could have possibly been hidden within there, but it certainly didn't want whatever my eyes and brain were reporting as being there, why can't there just be a simple logical question that anyone could answer but a machine couldn't,

Yeah, if you need to change tunings something along the lines of a VG8 and MIDI pickup are the way to go, then you can change tunings at the press of a pedal, with no waiting for strings to be re-tuned, no chance of them breaking through doing so and no differences in string tension (ever tuned a set of .8's down to drop c/b??, it doesn't work...)

was an n93, what a load of crap it was too, I certainly wouldn't subject myself to S60, not even for free, hence why I ended up just buying an iphone since I knew it would do what it says it does, and not claim every feature under the sun and deliver barely any of them

Now all we need

is some kind of facebook add-in thing which will automatically guage and make available ALL individuals 'sluttiness' ratings, list them all in order of sluttiness, then proximity to whoever is searching, and perhaps an instant map print out with directions to their house, providing they've clicked a button and accepted your request for a bit of a beasting. Maybe you could also be matched by the STDs you share too
