A fantastic article that shows how social technology solutions (i.e. do what I want now) will always triumph vs a centralised development model. However, it would appear that many of the readers here are unaware that the problem of change management has been largely addressed inside many leading organizations. Technology is capable of automating integrity checks every time a spreadsheet has been used. That way one gets the best of spreadsheet agility and the transparency needed to improve core systems.
