Big telco as a managed service provider.....

Yeah...that's going to work out really well....

If it takes months to get a circuit up and running....I can't imagine how difficult it will be to get change requests acted upon....

Wow.....good luck with that......

Amazing image quality on existing technology

Having used the Scan Eagle in combat, I can personally attest to the extremely high quality of what I'm assuming was the "standard" image package.

I would love to see what these new technologies will enable American and British warfighters to do in the future.

On a somewhat related note, having worked with almost every type of special forces troops that are operating in Iraq today, I can say that the most professional and most fun to work with were British and Australian SAS and SBS.

Blue Force Tracker on Windows? Not when I was there.

After having used the Blue Force Tracker platform in combat over two tours in Iraq...I'm relatively sure that it did not run on a MS platform....can't remember if it was Unix or Linux....but I know that it wasn't running on a Microsoft OS.....

Also, most of the Marines I worked with were so hopelessly computer illiterate, I can't imagine how much more difficulty they'd have with another OS to learn....Not that Marines are expected to be more computer savvy than the average civilian....
