@Shame, 3:24pm GMT
I disagree, i'm on a skanky tariff! But anyway that's probably half my fault.
The company that they recommend for insurance purposes though is a big pile of doodoo! I'd be glad if they moved out, hopefully they'd cancel my contract and i'd improve it elsewhere! :)
@ L - Wouldn't Steal a Car
best laugh all day, pretty melodramatic though.
Just one of those things....reading the original article i wonder why he changed his name when he moved to the US.
May his family RIP - not him.
At long last....
Finally some sense! Doubt it'll last that long though.....
Lol!!! Nice translation there ;)
I think Araf means slow or stop or something like that but yeah you're right it's all over the place!
"...using Welsh on identity cards would send a clear message that the language has equal validity with English. "
Rather funny that..surely that's not the case!? What a waste of extra ink! I suppose we should stick Gaelic as well, as well as all of the other UK national languages (if there are any others, that is) ?
@ User Error
Perhaps clicking on the right link (http://www.sans.org/top25errors/) would be more beneficial ;)
@ Richard (Huh)
I concur 100%! indeed, i'd rather claim for an ipod personally, but i mean c'mon!
2 TV's for Monmouth Conservative AM Nick Ramsay....and insurance as well, surely he should've got that first time..what a joke!
Well you know....
This isn't exactly untypical from McAfee! They're a bunch of idiots so not really that big a surprise!
Gotta be annoying though if you:
a) bought McAfee
b) bought Vista
or even!! c) bought both and it deleted some vital files.
I just gotta laugh!!! hahahahhahaha
Not too bad...damn the AA !
Likelihood of you being FEMALE is 23%
Likelihood of you being MALE is 77%
The BBC website helped me out though, having a ratio of 1.44 male2female ratio! However the www.aa.com let me down..Stupid Car safety company type thingy!
Hooray! and Just for the Record, i am male ;)
@ Mike R.
£800million, not £800 pounds!
Else that'd be classic.
I agree completely, that's what i thought it meant too!
*cries* !!! - False Advertising! :(
@ Raymondo B
You copied my earlier comment! lol...but yeah i agree completely...
@ Alistair M.
- so in order to save costs, they outsource, meaning we get left with a bunch of munchkins who know nothing (And it's not their fault to a large extent), but some are a bit clueless and we end up with all the stress.
It's all about CRM & CS, maybe o2 could read up on CRM a bit - i think of it as a philosophy. Treating customers decent enough so they don't moan all the time, seems the more complaints a company has, the happier they are! (if that's not the case then why do they give us so much stuff to complain about?)
I hate O2
The amount of hassle o2 has given me in the past due to themselves being anal, i can't say i'm too surprised.
Unfortunately a hell of alot of companies act the same way, are there are any decent companies around these days!? (not a rhetorical question so if u know of any, let me know!)
@ My love is in league with the freeway
problem would be then that "educated" people who do not spam at all would end up getting the question wrong, thus screwing themselves over in the process.
So basically your suggestion (maybe a too hard question i dunno) would probably end up ensuring that not many people get to send emails....
What about if i decide to send an email through outlook? - how would you stop that..? ;-)
That is one quality picture, seems rather ironic too....so real, especially with the 3 policemen and the dog watching over them, as if they were criminals.
Law & Order in the uk has issues it would seem. Don't think that's the only problem we got either..................
@ Spleen! :)
Or entering unauthorised (well sortof and sortof was authorised) buildings with intent..
how did the Sec. Guard let him in...what sort of security is there nowadays if a lithuanian ID pass lets him through!!!! =O
Domino's (pizza) - www.dominos.co.uk either definetly HAD or does have issues (although can't find the issue anymore)
so let's be fair, loads of sites fail to use their brains.
@ Chris Purdye
Reckon i found another link Chris! :)
@ Ian Ferguson, RE:Verified by Visa / Mastercard Securecard
Regarding when you pay for the account/few new months or whatever using a Visa/Mastercard i can assure you that there is not verifed by visa popup meaning you need to input another password.
For Domino's Pizza though, there is..but then for something like Amazon, there isn't. Depends on the site really, some do, some don't.
I do hope that SocGen do take some action against his colleagues who basically helped him do it. And perhaps stuck their own names in the "i wanna be sacked, plxplx" pot.
And regarding the systems, how could they not check...well if they did, then the checks are clearly not good enough. So whoever made them should be wary of losing their position too.
Sackings all around!
Access Code issues.
Quoted from the Article.
"Jerome Kerviel used his colleagues' access codes and sent fraudulent email in order to create fictitious accounts"
I would love to know how he got the access codes..I'm pretty sure that there would have been a policy against telling everyone what codes people have. Seems the policies didn't work very well.
Paris..- seems like his colleagues have her amount of brain cells. (harsh i know)
@ Hedley Phillips
It's alright Hedley..
I mean 2 years ago i had to wait around 3 months to find a suitable job. I was only on "the dole" (hate that expression) for 3-4 weeks..but im still waiting to be paid.
Oh wait, it'll never happen. I suppose if i wasn't english and/or in a life threatening condition due to no income and moaned on a daily basis i might just get 1p.
Or not. The benefits office suck, they give out money to cheaters, and to honest people, well you get sweet..ummm nothing.
Little Green Men!!!
Hey! i know martians are meant to be "green"...but where is the green colouring on that thing?
looks more brown to me! - like its been a martian who hasn't washed for many a year.
@ AC - 10:09 GMT *Unreal*
To be honest, the points behind their dispute surely are leading us to believe that they have nothing better to do than think about "Brazil's" public image via a computer game - which is ultimately made up and doesn't stand for a lot, except lots of money going into the producers pockets.
In WoW (I've played it for approx 2 years~) there isn't really "good" nor "evil"..both factions can be percieved which ever way you prefer.
do you like fantastical type characters or more human looking versions.
green orcs or humans
brown cows (tauren) or night elves
blood elves or draenei
trolls or dwarves
undead or gnomes
Ok well that went minorly off the subject, but the point is that banning a game such as Counterstrike for the reasons given is completely stupid. I mean if CS were to have a map based in London, UK or something, would all of the politicians start jumping up and down hoping it got banned.
(Probably yeah) What a sad Indictment of the world we live in today where no-one's free to do anything without the accusation of having alterior motives.
@ Luke Wells
Yes, it certainly causes hatred against the "Nazi's".
Disgusting, They are a group that should be respected for their beliefs, not killed in a pixelated video game where the game is based on a load of red/black squares in a particular order.
Oh and games like Monkey Island should be banned too...or just old games where the graphics can never be high enough, shocking.
Epochalypse Countdown: 30 years 2 months 1 weeks 3 days 23:25:19:979
Still glow in the dark piggies sound useful....esp for late night BBQ's as written above.
RE: They left the telivision on?
@ Joel Osborn - a parent who obviously doesn't think it's that big of an issue.
To be fair on their site - http://www.evesham.com/
the latest news is approximately 4 weeks old..so dunno who new it is..and it certainly doesnt mention anything about liquidation..
i bought a PC from evesham (customised though) and it's been quite decent..of course needing upgrades as usual etc..was never spammed though - just got the evesham monthly mag which was actually quite decent
good company, certainly beats buying direct from a Dell for eg.
i get sooo much crap that ive disabled loads..
SuperWall/Funwall = worst spamming apps of all time..and as such i just took it off - after redirecting all facebook emails to my spam folder
i dont need a stupid notification..i can just log on the site if i wanna find out stuff! :)
Facebook is merely a way of spamming everyone with useless bilge as well as getting people to download adaware (through widgets) and let everyone in the world know about where they live, their home addresses etc..
what a bunch of idiots..
What buffoons!!! have they not learnt to keep things yet....!! it seems every day the Government (or branches of) lose something new..
