You just cant beat 'backing up your tracks' to an external hard drive.
That's what I would do if I had ever paid for any music, other than the RATM song that toppled X Fuctor.

A medium skinnychocamochadecaffadoodah is what, £2.30 ish? Almost £5 an hour for 'free' wi-fi?
No thanks, I'll stick to Cafe Nero, you only need 8 stamps to qualify for a free coffe there as opposed to several hundreds of points at Costa Packet. 3G coverage will do for me whilst out and about.
Having place the order, their techy bods did various line tests and told me my speed would be between 11 and 15 meg. They are spot on, I can sustain a 15 Mbps at most times of the day, dropping occasionally to 12. I would have liked to have got closer to the 20 but at least I'm getting what I was told to expect, and that for me is the crucial bit.
The sooner they all piss off back to the 2013 equivalent of Bebo the better. I have a handfull of teenagers on my 'friends' list - family members and the offspring of some good friends, who are all there only out of politeness. I have had to set every single one of them so that I dont see any updates from them due to the sheer amount of drivel they post. Half of them seem incapable of using the private message function for a conversation, so you get a constant stream of teen-speak crap infesting your feed. Add to this the never-ending links to Youtube of some appalling R&B act or otherwise unknown 'pop star'.
If they can take with them the adults who have to share every damn 'funny' picture they ever see then even better.
Coat, mines the one with Victor Meldrew on the label.
A major supermarket chain in my small market town has just pushed through it's planning application by offering what is known as Section 106 (I think that number is correct) money, a large chunk of wedge for the council to spend in 'improving' the town. What do you think would happen if I offered a few hundred quid to hurry through the planning application on my extension or conservatory?
2 years ago I took out an iPhone contract. Happy with the phone, did all I wanted it to do. I recently renewed my contact and opted for a Samsung Galaxy S2 this time. I figured if I was tying myself into a new 24 month contract then I wanted a phone that felt different to my iPhone, otherwise I might just have well have not bothered upgrading and stuck with my 3GS.
O2 have ubnlocked the iPhone and I now have a PAYG Voda sim in it, for those occasions locally where the O2 coverage is flaky (mainly the local villages). I dont class myself as a fanboi of either camp, they're just phones FFS.
"many professional climate scientists do not believe that variations in the Sun have any significant effect on the Earth's climate"
Because they'd rather prolong their careers built on blaming mankind for climate change.
"there is intense hostility to the idea from the green movement as it could de-emphasise the importance of human-driven carbon emissions."
Oh yes, mustn't let scientific fact get in the way of a nice little spiteful war on motorists must we.
I sincerely hope that this site now comes under a sustained attack from the less aesthetically-pleasing members of the hacking fraternity. Not everyone has such a high opinion of the beautiful people as they themselves do, and I look forward to reading about their pretty but empty head being shot off now it's breached the parapet.
