Maybe if they paid a bit more of that tax they've avoided...
I'd feel more sympathetic
I'm thinking Starship Troopers....the first angel hasn't arrived yet so we've not got the genetic material to build an Evangelion ;o)
"Some 67 per cent admitted to going online to, say, send an email or upload photos while sunning themselves."
There must be some right pervs about if their taking real photos of fat ladies in swim wear and sending it back home to the relatives...
RE: Shane Sturrock
The pre installing of Vista is no different to the pre installing of XP.
My mother brought a PC from PC World many moons ago with XP pre installed. The machine spec was a 1ghz intel celeron with 256MB of RAM and the performance was awful!
Why do I need blu ray?
I have a 28 inch flat screen CRT, can someone please explain to me why I'd want to buy blu-ray to increase the resolution when I can barely see the difference...
Large Cheap TFT screens here in the UK are still cr*p and generally have poor colour depth, etc I was foolish enough to buy one and I pretty much took it straight. If I wanted to see the benefit of blu-ray properly I'd have to splash out 1000 quid plus on a decent screen to notice!
It p*sses me off that I'm slowly being forced into a format that makes bugger all difference to me! And will no doubt force me into slowly repurchasing every DVD I own as standard DVD backwards compatibility in blu-ray players becomes mysteriously dropped with an excuse over “production” and “component costs”.
I don't give a rats bum hole if I'll get a crisper image with blu-ray....DVD does the job just fine!
I've never agreed with paying for online use of a game...If a game is 39.99 you shouldn't need to shell out another tenner a month to play it.
This doesn't apply to existing games :) only the new ones with red stickers (every game with internet play thats awaiting release from now on I bet).
Smash bro's and mario kart will no doubt have it...mmm bad move nintendo very bad move.....sounds like Nini are getting a little bit greedy.
Old Generation Console Whoops the Ass of New Generation Consoles
Which sounds worse for poor old Sony and Microsoft:
"Wii Out Sells XBox 360 and PS3"
"Old generation console Out Sells XBox 360 and PS3"
Surely defending Sony and Microsoft by saying the Wii is a last generation console makes you a tit as your basically saying two Current Generation consoles are being out sold by a last generation console.....It's hardly bigging them up......
Asus tell you what just make a sub standard, standard laptop...
All these requests.....are people forgetting the point here ? It's a sub laptop made amazingly cheap....you shove it full of DVD drives, more RAM, large batteries and whatever else people are begging for and you ramp the price up, the machine size goes up and you just end up with a standard sized laptop at a standard laptop price!
Roaches have taste then
Glad to see these dirty germ ridden creatures have a grasp that its not just about amazing graphics but orginality...
If you're stupid enough to leave your Wii collecting dust and not ebay it in order to make a wad to buy a game for your XBOX360 or PS3 then all i can say is "idiot"
I predicted this was coming....
This new ds won't show itself until the wii has all its features up and running I think.
I guess the internal storage is for a possible list of things:
DSware - like wiiware but for DS meaning smaller developers can develop for the DS without needing a big wad of cash-a-roon.
DS wifi internet browser - I see they've recently canned the DS browser from shops most likely in prep for it being built into the newer model? The lack of storage was an issue with the current DS meaning not all features made it: Flash, etc
DS demos - Downloadable game demos
DS mediaplayer - mp3, video, etc could this be on the agenda?
Picochat wifi internet support - I'm guessing again storage was an issue in the previous model...friend codes chat across internet? VOIP?
I'll be interested if they don't do half of these....
