No more turning over a USB thing, then turning it over again to plug it in: Reversible socket ready for lift off
Goodbye WiFi and wireless devices if you try to use USB3 ?

Wage slavery increases every day, though. Increases in Real incomes for 99% of the US population stopped during the Reagan era, while the top 1% have accrued all of the benefits of automation and increased productivity. You can see from this chart:
When are we going to see criminal prosecutions of the super-rich and corporate directors in America?
Nothing, nothing, nothing will change until that happens.

GREED is a SICKNESS. It's why people with a million times as much money as the poor still feel they don't have enough.
Less than 2% of Apple iOS devices use iOS5 or less.
Story point: Yawn.
I have *both* PCs and Macs. It's been 20 yrs since I had a virus on my Mac, and that took 10 mins to remove.
For PCs: Kaspersky Lab is detecting 315,000 new malicious files EVERY DAY.
Re: top tip
I sold an 8 year old dual G5 for $450 last year. Try that with ANY pc. I also sold a two year old MacMini for 85% of purchase price. Again, try that with any PC.
Very misleading title for this article

Since USB3 interferes so badly with WiFi and 2.4 GHz wireless devices, I am hoping this new standard will actually be reliable at 60 GHz without being polluted by other devices, or interfering with them in turn.
Are there other devices which operate commonly in the 60 GHz range? Or have significant harmonics there? Medical devices?
Truly an awesome achievement! Some of the most amazing science in history.
One of the dumbest shows ever on TV. Including Judge Judy and the agony aunts.
Yet another lacklustre wannabe phone.
"Hey, you can get ads on this phone. No apps, but ads!"

Serious here. When will your job go? And.... WHO will own the robots? (Hint: NOT YOU)
Amazing, getting the customers to pay for Corporate Lobbying
Amazing, getting the customers to pay for Corporate Lobbying.
This is real chutzpah!
I love Apple and their products, but when they and other companies break the law, there should be criminal prosecutions, NOT SETTLEMENTS. This goes double for banks and bankers.
What's the problem>?
No no no. You don't understand.
The purpose of this nightmare is to secure the JOB of the neoPost tech staff
Honestly, Star Wars is pretty 3rd rate stuff. Acting is marginal, direction laughable, plot ham-fisted and abused. No wonder 4 year olds enjoy it so much.
Re: On the other hand
... "with a built-in PC"...
Built-in CRAP PC. Just try running any real HTML5 on this piece of S.
You are number six. I am number two.
Who owns the technology and the means of production.
Research and report
I use SugarSync since you can pick folders from all over your PC, including external volumes.
Re: Treat third party drivers with caution
I agree. If it won't run with Apple's own drivers, then it's a mutant and I won't touch it.
Even with some bugs, 10.9.0 is a vast improvement in speed and stability over 10.8.5
Re: Regardless of the facts...
My two year old iPad 3 (WiFi only, in superb condition), which I bought USED for £300, is priced at about £250 give or take a bit on eBay UK. Amazing.
Most Apple products have amazing re-sale value. I sold a two year old MacMini for 80% of the purchase price last spring, and an EIGHT year old dual G4 for £300 a year ago.
By contrast, I have a Dell PC with 20" monitor and 8GB RAM which sells for about £75 on eBay UK. Crappy really.
No one ever notes that the high price of Apple products is returned in large part when you are done.
Note: I use PCs (Windows 7 only now), Macs, iPads, iPhones, and (currently) six different Android devices every day (custom Apps), so this is not bull. I like Windows 7 (5 out of 10 rating), but OSX more (7 out of 10 now with Mavericks). I like Android (6 out of 10), but iOS more (8 out of 10).
The consistency of Apple products for App development is 3x - 4x less frustration than trying to anticipate the 100 forks of Android, not to mention the 100 screen sizes etc. And profit from Apple products is 5-10x better than with Android.
I gave up years ago and use AppleCare now. Awesome!
No worries, just great service. They will even pick up the item from my door, including emails about the pickup hour.
Before I would take stuff to an Apple store, but I no longer have a car, so AppleCare peace-of-mind is worth the money, honestly.
"We are ready to proceed—the only thing holding us back is the perception that [hypersonics] is always expensive, large and exotic."
So, only a mere $20 billion then? Congress could easily get that from Food Stamps and only a few millions would starve...
Not to mention resale value being quite amazing...
My old WiFi-only iPad 3 selling on eBay now for £250 give or take some.
imho, the single best feature ever is in iOS 7
The ability to block callers including text spammers without jailbreaking.
This is a triumph, not of technology, but of Apple over service providers...
It's not a PC, this is for real humans, not hack-a-whacks.
If you are worried about support, AppleCare is by far the best-rated support in the history of computing.
Jeez. Anything to bash a Mac for a headline...
Once again, Lawyers win!
Old systems came free with new hardware, but to upgrade after that you had to pay. This is the first Free one from Apple to all customers.
I find 10.9.0 to be amazingly stable and noticeably faster in many ways, sometimes much faster, but especially on laptops.
Why is Windoze <anything> so awful? See picture
OMG, this means that Experian will have to be more careful who it sells your data to....
30 Years of Windows (more or less)

Must compete with Intel on-board graphics. Crap now, but already 20x better than when they started.
Hmm.... Then why are they so busy burying everything he stood for?
Yet another example of why the Republicans, corporations and the rich want smaller government...
Same reason burglars want fewer police.
The Republican Dream
The Republican Dream:
A sweatshop America where compliant workers live in ignorance, fear, illness and poverty, while the 2% laugh and invest overseas.
I use both extensively
I develop apps for both Android and iOS. The results here for "Typical End Users" seems about right. My wife had an iPhone and hated it, begged for a Samsung. That lasted 4 weeks and now she's back to her old iPhone 4.
Also, said another way, Android is almost 6/10 and Apple is 7/10 or so. Not a great deal of difference. Both could use real improvement.
As a developer though, I must say that its far easier to build apps for iOS, but only due to the incredible forking and screen sizes and hardware variances of Android devices. Holy crap what a pain.

Amazing fun building this...
But... but... but...
What about your RIGHT to bear arms?
The constitution does not say "guns" it says "arms"....
Ecosystem, Ecosystem, Ecosystem
It's all about Ecosystem of apps and add-ons. Microsoft and Blackberry face the same problem. Android is catching up.
So, only for small boats then?
Can you say "Boat Anchor" ?
New Samsung "wrist" watch, my own visual interpretation...
Radiation on a trip to Mars is insurmountable at any kind of reasonable budget. Going to the moon, if we must put people into space, is the way to go.
