The "151" service status says only email and VM homepage is affected, next update at 2pm.
Email's just started working for me, everything else seems okay (Luton), and VM homepage back up ( don't forget to flush cache or append "?" to address if necessary ).
As for compensation; phone up customer services, explain how it was a bad choice choosing to work from home today and VM outage has caused serious problems and ask, "is there any chance of compensation?". Usually works for me. Probably won't if you throw a shit-fit though.
