"....a fondeslab of any brand is not exactly a PC?...." Well, only if you look at it in hardware terms. If you look at it in terms of what the user does with it, then a lot of fondleslabs are bought for tasks that people previously did on their traditional Wintel PCs. Outside of the workplace, many PC users don't do anything productive on their PCs other than the odd minor document, they just consume (browsing, listening to music, reading Facebook, etc, etc), it is only a minor slice of us PC users that do anything like coding on our home PCs. So, yes, for many a fondleslab is chosen instead of a traditional PC and use as a PC.
