The belling of cats....

is a greenpeace and indeed eco loon specialty.

No one denies the problems that exist with the way humanity interacts with its sustaining ecosphere.

The problem is when people of zero technical or scientific competence come up with cat belling solutions and think they are so smart..and worse,. when they convince other people.

'Renewable energy' is a total cat belling* lunacy.

The other fable that springs to mind is of the Bandar Log** - who were wont to utter the profoundly illogical statement that 'we all say it, so it must be true'.

If you think it is odd that I must needs refer to children's stories to identify the primary characteristics of Greenpeace et al,. then you are probably right.

They never grew up - poor things. They still believe in fairy tales, and magic.
