    Duh

It was obviously way too easy to break in to NASA...

53-page [GAO] Report to Congressional Committees: http://www.gao.gov/new.items/d104.pdf

"During fiscal years 2007 and 2008, NASA reported 1,120 security incidents that have resulted in the installation of malicious software on its systems and unauthorized access to sensitive information."

1120 times in a two year period was a bit much!

    FAIL

After all these years and billions and billions of dollars NASA still isn't watertiight?

The Texan shouldn't be charged with the NASA offence; THEY should be charged with failing to secure their servers.

    This is plain neglect.

    spot the mistake ..

“Parker hacked into SWReg's system, created the money by crediting the SWReg accounts, and then caused that money to be wire transferred to his bank account instead of the accounts of several developerss,”

Ten out of ten if you spotted this bit, "wire transferred to his bank account" ... DOH !!!
