    Obama couldn't send a surrogate or is he out of assistants?

    Talk about a wasted trip.

    All Zucker what not knows is how to steal someone else's business. He's barely out of diapers.

    As for the rest, what bright ideas did they come up with to warrant Obama burning all that fuel, and the cost for such a futile trip?

    Meanwhile, in Big Society Toyboy Town, are the children in pathetic fundamental disagreement on how to even get elected to do something novel ..... like displaying popular supported leadership in the playground.     Surely Beck isn't so crazy as to use 'ferment' when he should have used 'foment'. That would be crazy.

    Surely it's surprising that a certain Mr. Ballmer wasn't present? Even more curious than the presence of Bartz. Microsoft's PR machine really missed the ball on this one. Maybe they could hire Gordo's PR flak, she must have nothing to do now.

    Seems to me Obama is telling Zuck: "Beat it kid, the grown-ups are talking now."

    Seriously, one could go off early on a Saturday when all I was wondering was what they may have talked about, you know, the IT angle.

    On a side note: I just got my birth certificate replaced(1) by the state of Ohio. Did it online, cost $21.50, and got here a week later. Why can't your man do the same? He's already shown he doesn't mind spending OPM(2) with complete abandon.

      However, he did get his birth certificate, the same way you did, from the state where he was born. You can Alta Vista for it and everything, like all the cool kids do these days, to avoid the Soros Rays emanating from teh Goog.

    I voted for the guy, and to be fair, he is less of an ass-hat than any president since Clinton...

    but.. WTF? He is talking with industry incumbents that neutered network neutrality about how we can have more innovation?

    And Fortune 500 companies don't "create jobs", they create slaves while crushing small businesses that do innovate, pay taxes, and create jobs.

    Facebook is valued a 52X revenue! 52 times! Its not an innovative company! It is the next .cot pump-and-dump bubble that will start hemoraging cash the second it goes IPO, and Goldman Sachs will sell it to every union pension fund while simultaneously shorting it for their friends!

    The only way these companies are innovative is that they keep finding innovative news ways to make money for themselves while ripping off the country, consolidating power, and eroding privacy, while passing strongly IP laws to prevent start-ups from bringing real products to market!

    Unfortunately it is looking very likely that Steve Jobs will not be around for a awful lot longer.. so it looks to me like President Obama has taken the opportunity to visit before he goes. 24-hour news , politics and Corporate affairs being what it is, you can’t just jump on a plane.. there had to be another trip.

    In the cold world of politics, you don’t get photographed with folks who are dying outside of hospitals.. the photos tell me that Obama knows what Beck will say, and is ignoring it.
