As you're launching from Spain, I'm assuming that's not a joke.

    ¡Buen viaje Paris!

Oh! the long hours of waiting for clear skies ....

Inquiring mids want to know ....

Will the wine / brandy / beer / pipe cleaner last untill the launch time ?

Will the staff be still able to do the launch ?

Is feared a shortage of spirits in Spain because of the bad weather ?

Best of luck, clear skies and fair winds

Good luck PARIS team, here's hoping the weather clears, the mission's a success and the landing is smooth.

And the beer afterwards is plentiful, of course.

    "total electronic systems failure,"

Go on, admit it: You left the sodding lights on and the battery is flat!

Reminds me of a conversation I witnessed some time back, between a potential BOFH candidate and a somwehat trendy management processes presenter (or something like that - you get the idea)

Candidate looks out of window towards carpark

Trendy: What's up? Is there a problem?

Candidate: No; just checking I'd not left my lights on

Trendy: Oh. (smugly) doesn't your car tell you when you've left your lights on?

Candidate: Yes. It doesn't start when I get back to it.

"We'll have details tomorrow of just how you can follow the live launch and pursuit here on El Reg"

Will I be able to follow along on my Linux box?

    Tech speak?

"suffered a total electronic systems failure"

Is that tech speak for 'some knob forgot to charge the battery'?

    Another day's wait!

How frustrating for everyone. I hope PARIS shows you a good time when she's finally ready to go up... and down... :)

    Locals great

I don't speak a word of Spanish, but the locals have made a big effort to make me feel welcome,. Love the place.

The plane looks great, it's a master piece of paper plane construction.

    Just waiting for the weather

After all the discussion (doping, moisening, plastic/paper etc), and information on what failed, I never found any information on what you wound upwith for the skin of the plane.

Was I looking in the wrong place?
