    corpse in court?

"The news came the same day that prosecutors in Boston said they would drop charges against a man accused of killing a prostitute he found on Craigslist on account he committed suicide."

So if they hadn't decided to drop the charges persumably they would have dragged his rotting corpse into court to face trail?

Well, I'm glad that's prostitution sorted out then

Via the "Stop talking about it, or else" method. Another sterling victory for elected law enforcement!

" law enforcement and prostitution opponents"

People who oppose both law and enforecement and prostitution, that got to be a might small demographic. Possibly a few hermits or some very extreme loons from either the left or right, but I wouldn't have thought that there were enough of them to have this kind of political clout.

    WTF?

So why not set up RedLightUSA.com or RedLightUSA.Co.UK ...

and then host it outside the USA, out of reach of these State Attorneys who are breaching the Constitutional rights pf Craigs List?

Or would the UK government even deport Brits for this?

      Even simpler

Add a locale called "18th Century Colonies) to Craiglist UK. Add Erotic Services to 18th Century Colonies. End of problem.

Pimps and Lawmakers Can Breathe Easy Now

I don't know if it is a collective stupidity or just plain ignorance. This is a victimless crime. Prostitutes were free to operate their own services without the intervention of pimps. Perhaps U.S. lawmakers are so tied into organized crime that this would have been bad for campaign contributions. Either way, the descent into darkness continues apace.

    How long...

...before US prossies figure out they can post their ads to overseas CL servers, and US punters figure they can find what they're looking for on those same servers?
