Also includes a 'Player Influence' feature to display in a tag cloud like interface which players are having the biggest impact on a game and enables users compare player v player, team v team and to share their analysis using Twitter and Facebook.

I liked the vuvuzela app that proclaimed "We work of almost all phones!"
Also the ad about prayer. England will need it, though obviously they'll have to be fervent and righteous to be effectual and availeth anything (James 5:16 in case you had to ask)
This is a Predict The Scores game that is free to play and has round by round and overall cash (well, voucher) prizes!
Only available for Jailbroken iDevices unfortunatly, but it allows you to have mini-head to head challenges with your friends and climb up the leaderboard.

Gorgeous interface - and really quick/intuitive too.
All the fixtures (viewable in lots of different ways), news (for the entire tournament, or just for your team), points, groups, teams, venues, venue photographs, location photographs - and even maps and satellite imagery! You can zoooom in from above on stadiums!!!! Right down to the grass.
It push downloads scores, and who's qualified automatically in the background and is just really cooool.
