    Total Football 2010

A really unique iPhone app providing incredible live statistics and visualisations including every pass, every shot, every tackle and every foul for all 64 games.

Also includes a 'Player Influence' feature to display in a tag cloud like interface which players are having the biggest impact on a game and enables users compare player v player, team v team and to share their analysis using Twitter and Facebook.

Only launched on Friday, really worth checking out:

    UI Design

Here's a suggestion for Android developers: get your UI designed by someone other than a child. I can't believe how amateurish all these apps look. No wonder they're free. Do the paid ones look any better?

    Kick'n'Mix

Little puzzle game based on the logos/crests of football teams, should keep the synpanses firing.

    Avaiable from AppStore/iTunes:

    comments as well as suggestions

because we want to vent our spleens over the scores! not just suggest other apps. 80 & 75%s?

I liked the vuvuzela app that proclaimed "We work of almost all phones!"

Also the ad about prayer. England will need it, though obviously they'll have to be fervent and righteous to be effectual and availeth anything (James 5:16 in case you had to ask)

Would be nice if it actually existed....

Because I have no idea what they're talking about, and don't want to look like a complete tool.

Telegraph World Cup App - iPhone

I can't believe you haven't got the Telegraph World Cup App for the iPhone in your list.

It's the best app ever, even has free push notifications on the matches, goals, half time score, full time score, yellow/red card etc etc and many more.

    WorldCup Predictor

This is a Predict The Scores game that is free to play and has round by round and overall cash (well, voucher) prizes!

Only available for Jailbroken iDevices unfortunatly, but it allows you to have mini-head to head challenges with your friends and climb up the leaderboard.

Part of a university research project it seems, support UK research and get this on the toplist.

Gorgeous interface - and really quick/intuitive too.

All the fixtures (viewable in lots of different ways), news (for the entire tournament, or just for your team), points, groups, teams, venues, venue photographs, location photographs - and even maps and satellite imagery! You can zoooom in from above on stadiums!!!! Right down to the grass.

It push downloads scores, and who's qualified automatically in the background and is just really cooool.
