    Eco-friendly cooking

Does this mean that on a hot, sunny day I only need lob some sliced potatoes and a couple of pieces of fish up on the roof and then retrieve them a few minutes later when they're done?

    Two words - got snow?

"... reduce both heating and cooling costs..."

    So it's insulation then.

"...waste-based product can be "tuned" in manufacture to change from reflector to absorber at temperatures suited to where it is to be used."

No it appears to be winter anti-insulation bent on creating ice dams.

    Treatment with alcohol

....is recommended before using cooking oil in a diesel engine "

Treatment with alcohol is also recomended before eating the food cooked in the oil.

Not to mention the risk of explosion:

Or indeed the risk of sliding off your roof if you are stupid enough to start at the bottom.

PH yet again because she knows all about slid........you get the idea.
