    Rape?

    How is it know it was rape? Was the goat objecting?

    Surely unless there is some method of identifying clearly whether this was *just* sex with a goat, or actually was rape, it should be presumed these guys were simply having sex with it, and not assume it was against the goat's wishes.

      assumed consent

      It is my understanding (which could be wrong) that unless both / all parties involved actually consent, then it is rape. As such, all sex involving animals is technically rape, as the animal(s) involved are unable to of giving consent.

      Which is why drug induced rape is definitely rape, they may not be objecting (because they are not able to for one reason or another) but they are definitely not consenting.

          I was assaulted by a friends dog once... :(

          The friend (owner) laughed as the dog kept attempting relations with my leg... I most certainly did not consent... maybe I can get some sort of compensation too???

          On a more serious note - wtf?! I know there are some oddballs out there, but hunting in pairs for goat love?!

        Or at least very silly. Is it "technically rape" when farmers artificially inseminate livestock? Is it "technically" murder when they slaughter their livestock?

        As for your suggestion that drugging and raping a human is roughly the same thing as "raping" an animal, this is an example of why I don't like animal rights. It weakens the concept of human rights. Perhaps we need to first get human rights sorted out, then all become vegetarians, and then start granting "rights" to animals.

    Shouldn't the offenders simply be forced to buy the dishonored goat at the current market price? I don't know about you, but I don't think I'd want to have anything to do with a goat after it's virtue has been compromised in this fashion, let alone eat it. These goat-fuckers have seriously damaged the market value of that goat; they SHOULD be required to compensate the owner for it. Then perhaps they should be required to eat their "girlfriend"... that would show them!
