Dible?
Officer Dible? Top Cat must have been behind *that* caper.
At least he's got a fun career as an internet porn star to fall back on. In a decision handed down last week, the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit determined that an Arizona police department did not violate one of its officer's civil rights when it fired him after discovering that he ran and participated in a porn …
Wouldn't it be cool if the U.S. Constitution actually had a porn-star amendment! All men are not created equal and the right of those exceptions to display their assets will not be infringed upon. Ha. We'd be a laughing stock (well, I guess we already are) but it'd still be cool.
with his Cary Grant accent and lounge-lizard ways, Fancy would make a good porn star, and I imagine there could be all sorts of variations on a Benny the Ball theme, esp. in those sex-clubs in the centre of Prague! however I haven't quite worked out a role for Spook and Brain, although Choo-Choo could satisfy certain alternative cravings....
If it's wrong to have a website of your wife rubbing one out on household implements then I don't want to be right. Unless he was in the pictures I can't really see a conflict of interest, given that having pictures of your old boiler being done by random strangers isn't currently illegal in the US. Was she hideously ugly? Plus, the suspect may well have been calling the cop a 'porn whore' in general. Or do suspects normally call them "cunts" like everyone else?
"The Dibles started the website in late 2000..."
"Not surprisingly, rumors about the site began to fly around the department, and eventually made their way to the ears of department officials."
So it took the rumours 7 years to filter through the police station, thats sure is some slow gossip and detective work.
I suspect that most of the police "grunts" were actually subscribers and kept it quiet and the "officials" -I would say- knew something, but it seems as soon as someone "takes offence"/"needs a story" then it becomes a problem.
As far as i know its not illegal to run a porn site, this is like getting sacked for working a second job in a meat factory, when your first jobs boss is vegetarian.
So what if he is in the police force, they are all people too. If its only credibility of the police force he got sacked for? I wouldnt worry, as most people dont have any respect for the police and the job they do.
btw does a dead sheep class as an "inanimate object"....
Typical American crap. You can be a cop, as long as you don't have a private life of your own when you finish here. WTF has it got to do with them? it's in PRIVATE time not POLICE time and it's not hurting them. Another reason I'm glad I DON'T live in the US. The UK is bad but the states like to take away peoples lives. Why not just but bars around the whole country and call it the USP .. United States Prison.
I see The Reg are not exactly leaping to this guy's defence: "Needless to say, Dible was fired shortly after the reports hit the news." - treating it like a funny story.
The guy lost his job because he was running a legal porn site out of hours. That's not a funny story - it's a disgrace the guy lost his job. Why isn't The Reg defending him?
