    Only reason I have a phone line is for Broadband...

    So that average of £10ish pounds is super inflated for me.

    I know alot of folks that have broadband, but don't use the phone line connected to it.

    They value broadband so much..

    ...and yet most of them want it on the cheap.

    So people find it easier to cut back on variable-cost, optional purchases than fixed-cost, long-term contracts. Who'd have thought it, eh?

    Consolidation!

    I run a local computer consultancy, and I've found that a lot of my customers are switching to bundled products to save money that way. Some people are saving £15-£20 a month just by switching to a bundled package!
