    ECT, drugs and exercise?

Surely just the exercise on its own would work? It would get them away from the PC at least

Sounds like he's just combined a whole bunch of completely random and different treatments into one so he can charge top dollar for it. Classy.

    Joke

    Signs of the times

This is the kind of quakery that follows the logic, "Oi! The yoof just wanna be wired up!" So, wire up he does, in every way possible.

You would have thought this guy was from Texas...

    electroconvulsive therapy

They're using ECT wrongly - it would work if the internet connected device in the patient's (detainee's?) padded cell was connected to a randomly applied current source - you just need one of those IP 67 stainless steel keyboards and an insulation tester...

    Happy

You've just had a heavy session of electroshock therapy...

...and you're more relaxed than you've been in weeks. All those childhood traumas magically wiped away, along with most of your personality.

    @anon 'Bring back national service'

To increase the numbers of people making requests for political asylum in free countries? like what happened when America had conscription - people just went to Sweden and Canada.

sure, I see why governments would go for that...

Someone should wire him up and feed him drugs

This is the definition of torture, it is outrageous and breaks pretty much all human rights legislation.

If you asked for permission to do this to someone who meats it out, they would emphatically say no to it, it is an incredibly sick to do something like this to another human being.

    Shocking :)

ectro-shoch is better than some of these games...

I think Dr. Yang now understands that the "Net Neutrality" issue for Internet users has nothing to do with electrical grounding methods against customers.

Or, according to our CRTC "...duhhhh does it...???"

    :)

    Nice...

"But the country's Ministry of Health has come down hard on Yang, declaring that "Electroshock therapy for Internet addiction... has no foundation in clinical research or evidence and therefore is not appropriate for clinical application"."

Hey, could their MoH come over and do the same for all the "alternative" quackery that is freely sold to the public around here too, even if it has nothing but placebo effect?
