    Which Country?

    Never mind the Donald Trump jokes. If mainland China is no longer connected to Taiwan and South Korea, but the United States is still connected to those two countries, and thus, presumably, also to Japan, that's a bad thing to happen to China, but it doesn't really affect the United States all that much.

      A lot of data from the entire asian region comes over that cable normally, so it's not just China that suffers. All other data connections get extra load to handle and margins become slimmer.
