Twitter has done something weird, because for a brief time today it presented users with incorrect follower and Tweet counts. Here's a look at what The Register saw for about an hour today.     That's nothing new

    Twitter has been randomly dropping followers for years - I've had it happen several times. It's really annoying if you protect your tweets because folks have to request to follow you again.
