    Waiting for Godot...

... Alexei Sayle's version comes to mind, where Godot is delayed, meets various people as he tries to get to the blasted tree on the lonely, desolate road to nowhere ("ah, the M25"...), finally turns up and isn't recognised.

    Butt clencher for the driver

I noticed the "Oh Shit!", was that for the truck, the car unexpectedly swerving, or both?

Re: Butt clencher for the driver

Probably both. We aren't used to our cars suddenly steering somewhere we didn't intend, unless we lose traction such as on ice, which occasionally has unfortunate consequences. That is always going to be an "oh shit" moment so long as our hands are on the wheel.

    Auto horn?

I am going to pretend the car also automatically beeped the horn too, also that it has some kind of external screen on which to display a flipped bird.

Automated driving leaves you free to do this. http://i.imgur.com/rWmzb58.gif
