    Local services?

    Ah, yes.

Here in Norf Lundun we have not had a 'local authority' for ages.

All sold off or rented back(?) and now all handed over to Crapita.

"Hello, Crapita, which council do you require"

    Crapita or Slurp?

People complain about Capita all the time winning contracts. Yet do little about it. Why not contact your local MP.

Having dealt with most of these IT outsourcing businesses, Capita are probably the best of the bunch. Not to say there are no problems with them, but the problems they do have are much fewer than the others, who in some cases are frankly atrocious.

There are some sides to Capita that are an absolute gem, fantastic knowledge, great project management and always happy to help. Yet other parts seem like they are managed by a bunch of Nursery children.

      Err ..

"There are some sides to Capita that are an absolute gem, fantastic knowledge, great project management and always happy to help."

This would perhaps be the Happy Unicorn Contracts division, where all contracts are always completed on time, customers' software always works as per spec and everything comes in under budget? Can I have their address please, since I only ever get to see the darker side of Capita.

    SMEs?

What happened to the policy of promoting the use of SMEs by councils?
