    Put Windows 7 on them (or as an option) and they would have all sold.

    No-one wants Windows 8 or 10 but M$ just don't get it .......

      i'm still buying Lenovos with W7 preinstalled, and will continue to do so until they run out

      Yup. I'd be interested in buying a laptop that didn't have 8.1 or 10 pre-installed. Better still, one with nothing installed but guaranteed to be Linux-friendly.
